   Christmas Eve prix fix menu exceeded our expectations. Every course we'll prepared and tasty Service excellent. Lodge decorated nicely inside and out, but restaurant devoid of decor, a tiny bit of a letdown

   Love this place but was hoping for a more holiday festive vibe. Also, the portion sizes for the prices was quite disappointing. Lucky none of us were super hungry or we might have had to run down to a Starbucks after for a quick add on.

   We went for a cocktail before our dinner reservation. It was a blend of pistachio infused rum with amaro and absolutely delicious. The dinner was very good. The sablefish was served with braised cabbage on a bed of sautéed wild mushrooms. So delicious.

   We had a great experience at Cedar+Elm! We took our grandkids out for their 25th birthday, and the food was superb, the service was quick, friendly and professional (thanks Parker!). The pork belly, salads, gnudi and proteins were delicious and inventive. Who would have thought mushrooms would taste like chocolate in the crème brûlée? It was fun to roam around the seminary and look at art before dinner, and the grounds (a state park) we’re beautiful. I would, if possible, add some additional plants or screens around the main dining room where tge tables are. The banquets look cozy, but the back is a bit stark. We look forward to coming again and enjoying it in the daylight!

   Truly lovely dining experience with friends. We have always had good food here, but the service has been spotty. This time the service was exceptional and consistent with he quality of the food and ambience of this historic venue. Our server’s suggestion of the specialty pork belly dish to share was a hit with everyone at the table. Her service was quick and well timed. She had a good sense of when to let us enjoy our drinks and appetizers and when to appear to take our order. We all enjoyed the sablefish which was wonderfully done in a unique presentation with cabbage. The room is a little noisy. The grounds and hotel are festively decorated for the holiday making it a nice place to celebrate the season with friends.

   Lovely restaurant and we were delighted to have our tea at one of the curved seat tables. The food was all very good, and some items were fantastic - like the scones, mushroom tarts, and lemon bars. The tea selection had a nice variety, too. We were attended to while also given plenty of time to enjoy our tea and conversation. All in all, a lovely experience and we’d love to return & recommend the tea highly!

   Everything was wonderful especially when the Christmas carolers began to sing. It was like being in a Hallmark movie. Food was excellent and throughout our stay the service was fantastic!

    Incredible Steak Salad – A Must-Try! I visited Cedar & Elm for lunch today and the steak salad blew me away! The steak was cooked to a tender, juicy medium-rare and seasoned to perfection. It was sliced thinly and layered over a bed of greens that were fresh and vibrant with a uber pleasing scent of lemon. What truly elevated the dish were the house-made vinaigrette which tied it all together beautifully, balancing the richness of the steak with a zesty fresh lemon kick. This salad is a perfect blend of indulgence and healthy eating. It was the best steak salad I have ever had so I will definitely come back to enjoy it again—highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memory maker!
