Cannot recommend this enough. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. I opted for the champagne feast and the service was so attentive. Great value for money.

The food was average at best, the beef was raw, burnt Yorkshire puddings and dry chicken. The selection of deserts were shocking, you are paying £100 + more for a bowl of maltesers. Service was slow and very forgetful, I feel this has been built up and was disappointed.

A lovely venue and the staff are top notch. We celebrated a 70th birthday here and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The only downside was a miscommunication where we were told certain drinks were included but they obviously weren’t as we ended up with another £100 on the bill!! Lesson learned. It’s great for a milestone event and again the staff and the atmosphere are excellent.

We booked the Sunday Feast after seeing reviews on TikTok. We attended as a celebration for my husband’s birthday and enjoyed the experience. Loved the band playing music throughout our visit. The food was okay but didn’t wow us and so we didn’t feel it was particularly value for money. Small amount of choices of the fresh pizza and pasta options and limited dessert selection also. Hefty 14.5% service charge which considering it’s a self serve buffet felt steep but I suppose it is in London!

In truth I found this a hugely disappointing experience. Firstly on arriving my friend and I were not actually sat in Cecconi’s we were sat in what appeared to be an overflow of Cecconi’s in a restaurant called Malibu. It was too bright and as one of the first guests I feel we should have had the Cecconi experience. This meant as we went up for food we had to gain access round the back of the deserts and push past people , as we could not enter via the reception area as it was congested with people trying to get seated. I asked if our coats could be taken 3 times and in the end just hung them over our chair. I feel for £110 a head it should have been sensational, I appreciate there are some that want to get ‘Lobster’ to the point of bursting ( one Gentlemen definitely attempted to do that opposite us). I just feel the meats were hidden away….. no theatre and I asked for chicken breast and it was boney. I was actually offered half a piece of a chicken breast ( which I feel was not the breast) my friend also just got offered rare beef and that was the only choice. Considering we were sat as it opened at 12.00 the food was lukewarm at best and the roast potatoes were spongy and HORRID. The deserts felt more ‘ Harvester’ than of a brand like the Ned. We were not asked ONCE about our experience and if anything was ok, just reminded THREE times we must vacate the table by 2pm. Yes, the old Midland bank has been beautifully renovated and the live music makes it a great place to be.… the food sadly did not hit the top note. I paid the service charge £34!!! but in truth feel the experience was dire and I genuinely feel if anyone is coming here for a special meal - do your research and go somewhere that u will crave to visit again. I have visited the Lutyens restaurant before and it was lovely but won’t be back to Cecconi’s I actually feel let down, ripped off and embarrassed that I took a friend there as a special treat 😬

The Ned is a lovely building and full of character but I dont feel this is worth the money at all and is very much overhyped. Plenty of other places from a more reasonable price point with better food and service. There was plenty of choice for food but some dishes lacked flavour. Main everts like lobster, oysters and the beef were average. Not all seats can see the band playing and are tucked away in a back corner. Some seating is also on bar stools/sharing high table and very close to other customers. Service was slow and not very attentive, often having to grab the attention of staff for drinks orders or clearing of plates. Overall, I wouldn’t book this again as I think there are other places that deserve my money!
