   Food was lovely as we were super hungry! The staff were a little bit slower than normal and it wasn’t that busy so I was surprised.

   When the food arrives before the drinks you do wander. ??? Then when the bottle of rose was poured it was left in a chiller not at the table but by the front door. Where everyone was standing with no cork in at £50 a bottle think that was badly handled. The staff were flying around they took my daughter’s plates away before I had even finished my pizza. Finally a suggestion don’t over book or maybe more staff. At least the Manager understood our complaints. It certainly not a place I would revisit

   We went for breakfast , they had no bacon, mushrooms, marmalade, very poor to have let their stocks get so low . not impressed.

   I booked as I was sent a 15% discount code so thought I would try it for a special day out. I mentioned the discount when ordering. I then paid the bill and realised they hadn’t take the discount off. I should have ‘Showed them a code’. This wasn’t explained to me and I have never used a Bicester discount code before. Staff were rude, unhelpful and not willing to adjust the bill. What’s the point??

   Overall 4/5. I would say the price was quite alot for what we had - pizza was average and my pasta was luke warm. Chips and creamed spinach nice enough, again £7 for the spinach, excessive. You are paying more for the name. £6 for the lemonade was quite steep too. Service was good - not quite 5 star, they didnt ask how the food was, but friendly and attentive. Loved the little birthday touch - really worthwhile including this if you have a special occasion.
