   Great food of good quality. Tasty and well prepared. The atmosphere was also very pleasant and esthetically pleasing.

   We’ve now chosen to come back to this place in consecutive years, which is how you know we enjoyed our experience. The food is excellent and the service is attentive and friendly. They were accommodating to our little one and Arleigh was a great server. It is a bit pricey, and the courses came out a touch slow (though that may have been just that we were cognizant of that with a child). But overall excellent experience and would absolutely recommend for anyone visiting Aruba.

   Wow…WOW! We were blown away by the world class cuisine we had at dinner. This was a last minute, let’s see what else is out there with tables available…maybe we can change from where we had planned. Omg! First off so glad I changed!! (Btw The other place is great too- we go there often.) But this was beyond a pleasant surprise at Caya house. It’s so cute walking in like found a secret garden. But can I tell you … from the “Brazilian cheese bread” starter with this insane, airy cloud of butter with the most beautiful spiral of sweetness. That alone - I knew we were in for something special. We had the pre fix dinner and my Husband had just octopus starter, the 10oz steak - said he didn’t want dessert. (He wished he had looked at them at the end btw after mine came out.) I had the ceviche to start. Then a huge lamb shank with the most delicious roasted veg in a beautiful pan sauce including cute little cut florets of polenta. Just WOW. AND CAN I SAY- to the end the night… left mind blown with the lemon cheesecake. It was a piece of art!! I didn’t know we could find this level of world class art hidden away on a side street in Aruba. I would expect this level in Paris or London or Sydney. I am going to remember this meal especially that Lemon Cheesecake (piece of art) for a very very long time. I have saved this one so we can and will be back next year for our Holiday. Bravo to the staff and to the chefs. It takes a lot for us to be this impressed. And we were VERY impressed. (I think I did the ‘we aren’t worthy bow’ at the end.). The ambience was beautiful. It’s quaint feels like you’re on vacation in a special place. The decor is simple and elegant. I think anyone would really enjoy Caya House. Can’t say enough about it. If I had the card on me I would also applaud our server which I don’t have his name on me at the time of writing this. Thank you again. And we will see you next year.

   Ok, to start with the staff was great and the restaurant styling was good. For drinks had the Raspberry mule & Manhattan, the mule was perfectly balanced, the Manhattan was good but on the heavy pour side so very strong. Did the $69 meal special that included 1 appetizer, a main course, dessert, and a champagne. Had the scallop ceviche, flavors balanced well, but the scallops were grainy. Also, I had the tune tartar, which was good, but came with only 4 chips to eat it as well as a large sliced red onion. Entrees were the Duck Breast, which was braised well, so flavors were incredible, but the duck was overcooked, so it made it super dry. And the Marinara Rice, which had a lot of seafood in it, as well as the grainy scallops. Then desserts: Tres leches cake, which if this is the only thing you come for, you wouldn't be disappointed. Then the brownie love, which was super decadent and very cchocolate. Champagne was a brut and didn't really compliment anything ap could do without it. Overall, I don't think the pricing and what you get are aligned, and I'd only recommend drinks & dessert here. Also, the music and people made it very difficult to hear the staff explaining dishes.

    Caya House was long overdue to be visited by us and let me tell you…lo bueno se hace esperar! From the hostess, waiter, bar staff, great service! And the food was just sublime! High quality cuisine with succulent flavors! Oh and the cocktails! Man were they good! Definitely will be back soon!
