   It was a terrible experience. The valet took 20 minutes Waiting for the table 30 minutes Love and chocolate menu regular food, low quality wine package, waiting too long between every course. It was a very costly experience

   Came for a special Valentine’s pre-fixed, coursed menu. The food was good, but weren’t blown away (mind you we paid $300 for two people, and $54 worth of included tip when you booked). Our waiter, god bless him, was all over the place and maybe needed a few weeks of training before getting on the floor. Forgot to bring us the drink menu, forgot what the restaurant served usually and was offered to show us a menu (which he forgot to bring). Often got the wine pairing when we were on our last bite of the accompanying dish. It seems they may have overbooked the night in our opinion. The place itself is beautiful and maybe is worth it on a normal night.

   Menu was prefixed but there were a lot of issues with items coming out on time and correctly. We ordered the wine pairing and for the second course had to wait 30 minutes to get the wine to go with our food after having to ask 3 separate people for it. We had different items come out missing ingredients on the menu and maybe that was just a misprint on the menu. The palate cleanser was a watermelon old fashioned but it was just cold watermelon juice in a glass. For all the issues with the service and menu items, it could be forgiven if the food wasn’t just so boring and bland. And when you’re paying $400 for dinner, you’d expect something better than just okay. It seems like it was just a big name big price valentines experience that was just not worth it.

   The chocolate event for Valentine’s Day was amazing and the food was remarkable. We will be back to eat from the regular menu soon. Highly recommend.

   Loved open design and ambiance. Well crafted cocktails. Good was delicious. Picanha for two stellar with fun presentation. Well worth the price with plenty to eat for two. Maybe even three. Would recommend. They also reimburse for valet parking at the hotel if you eat at the restaurant

   We enjoyed a wonderful date night at Cavalier. The Caesar salad with anchovies was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the Foccacia as an appetizer. There was a slight delay in receiving our wine and it was not what we had originally ordered, but still very good. The staff brought out a gratis dessert and offered their apologies. We were really impressed and will definitely return. Thank you for a great night.
