We’ve been to Catch a few times and have enjoyed the creative menu and the beautiful, unique environment. Last night’s experience was less than satisfying but it was all because of our service. We arrived early for a 6:30 reservation and were seated by 6:25 pm. The service started slow with only water being offered and got worse. Then a loud party of 10 was placed beside us. Our waiter, who already had a rather casual approach, did not return to our table for another 30 minutes, rather he immediately began serving the large party and they had drinks within minutes. By this time we had requested to be reseated in a quieter place. Another waiter eventually helped us with drinks, which took another 20 minutes. In total we were seated without cocktails for 55 minutes. Our original waiter was then back asking for food orders and when we asked why the service was so slow (actually I told him it was unacceptable at a restaurant of this stature) he replied “hey, Catch is a happening place”. We were celebrating a birthday or we would have walked out. Beautiful place, great food - this visit was horrible service, which is too bad for such a nice place.

One of my favorite spots in Dallas. The people are great, and deliver above and beyond service. The food is excellent as well. The Crispy Fried Rice with Wagu is amazing, and considering Dallas has great steakhouses, the Prime NY Strip is one of the best steaks in town. The sushi is also fresh and excellent. Again all of this is made better with great people who make you feel special in a beautiful space.

The service and food were good with exception of the noise level. It was extremely loud with the conversations from all the other tables. I’ll go again once the terrace opens and they have an outdoor seating possibly it wont be as loud.

The restaurant exceeded expectations with its spectacular food, ambiance, and service. A delightful surprise was the tableside garnish for water, adding a unique touch. The superb drinks complemented the experience. Eagerly anticipating our next visit!

Our waiter took 10-15 minutes before acknowledging us to even get a drink. We had been waiting so long that we were ready to order some lite bites because we were hungry, only to be told we HAD to order everything at once. When we finally decided and submitted our order, when it came out all of our food went to the table next to us. When we finally complained and told them, they still never brought one of our dishes and we got our main dish prior to our lite bites. The waiter didn’t seem apologetic but the manager was. We still only got a few things comped when I feel the whole ticket should have been taken care of. May not go back.

As we were dining here for a birthday dinner, expectation were high. Unfortunately the dinner service fell far short which almost ruined the overall experience. The valet and the hostesses up front were very polite and accommodating. Our server Kylie started of with a designated practiced spiel which wasn’t a problem. She seemed nice and we informed her that we were celebrating a birthday. We were sat around 9:30. I figured she had other tables and was slightly busy so we waited for her attention for a short while. When she did make it to the table after we gave her drink orders and appetizers she returned shortly after to say if we wanted to order anything else we only had five minutes until the kitchen closed. Obviously, with it being our first time, we were a bit rushed, and we’re only able to pick a few light items because one of our guest was vegan and we were attempting to decide on their options because she told us she had to take all the rest of the order right then at the moment if we wanted anything. After our appetizers and wine were brought to the table, by Patrick the beverage manager ,who is Amazing by the way, we no longer saw Kylie. After asking multiple people we were informed she no longer in the building. Apparently we were passed off without notice! After feeling rushed and slightly unattended, my guest and I were less than thrilled. The birthday evening was ruined. Overall an underwhelming and disappointing experience.

The hosts/hostesses were rude and did not provide for a good first impression upon entering. Our waiter couldn’t have been nicer and provided a wonderful experience!

Amazing pasta and seafood. Great hostesses and service at large. We did loose our server during a shift change with no communication, which seemed unusual for this level of dining. But they apologized and we had an attentive second server. Definitely worth trying.

The food was good, but the service was terrible. The waiter literally left our table in the middle of taking our orders to go fill the water at the table next to us. When my salad was served, the woman who served it had long hair and her hair was in my salad. I am allergic to several things, and I asked for substitutions, but the chef said no substitutions. The service was terrible and so slow. I will not go back .
