   Beef Wellington was cooked to perfect medium rare. Sea bass was likewise perfect. If anything, it was too much food for a brunch. But whatever you didn't eat was take-home-able. Not inexpensive, but great food, service, view, etc.

   I don't normally write reviews or complain to this extent, but after my experience at Castaway Restaurant, I feel compelled to warn others. My visit was an absolute disaster from start to finish, but what really made it unbearable was the terrible, rude service from the manager. ” Julio” Here’s how the night went: we ordered 3 appetizers which were just ok, ( sent back the caviar fries because they were cold and did not taste good. now for the main corse, we ordered two filet mignon steaks ( 1 cooked medium, 1 cooked well done butterflied) the Mac and cheese, garlic fires and mashed potatoes , the food arrived ridiculously cold with the exception of the fries. — I asked the server who was extremely polite and helpful to have it fixed. They took it back, and when it came out again, after 2 HOURS both steaks were undercooked and the sides were still cold. How do you mess up both steaks AGAIN?! At that point, I was frustrated, but figured I’d try to get it fixed one more time. The 3rd time they brought out the “medium” cooked steak, it was burnt and had a very distinct smell of old meat that has been either sitting out for a very long time and or expired. ( I have been in the food business for 15+ years and I know how meat should smell and taste) When I brought the issue up to the manager, I was met with total indifference and borderline hostility. No apology, no attempt to make things right, just a condescending attitude like I was the problem. It was clear they couldn’t care less that I was unhappy. They actually had the nerve to say “ what do you want? Us to remake it or for me to take it back and get you the check”! Unbelievable! After I pointed out how unacceptable that was, the manager just walked away. We didn’t even bother eating another bite, as it was clear this place was more interested in treating customers like garbage than actually delivering on quality food and service. They still had the nerve to charge us for the food that we didn’t even touch.

   It was an amazing experience the waiter was amazing. The food was amazing. The ambient was amazing.

   Front desk always seems very busy and not attentive. Even with a reservation there is a wait of 15-45 minutes. After your called to be seated, the host is always confused where to have you seat( this is their 3rd time). Food is always tasting different ( tasteless or very delicious). Parking attendances don’t know how to manage the line . They allow people park on the side which causes a lot of traffic and even though it’s valet, we have to always walk towards our car. Mind as well make it self park and not rip off your clients. Lastly, food is always late. They bring out the food literally an hour after you’ve been sat down.

   The only thing I wanna complain is ,food is super slow ,we even got tired and wanna leave ASAP,we took the birthday cake back to eat,because we don’t wanna wait .

   The menu had a decent variety, and the dishes were prepared well enough but lacked the “wow” factor I was hoping for. The flavors were fine, just not particularly memorable. What made the experience worthwhile, though, was the amazing service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Our server went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, kept our drinks filled, and even offered some great recommendations (though the food didn’t live up to their enthusiasm). If you’re looking for a place with an inviting atmosphere and stellar service, this is the spot. While the cuisine may not blow you away, the staff’s dedication to making your visit enjoyable might just make up for it.

   My steak was not very tasty. It was too chewy and fatty. But the view was worth every penny.

    Amazing service with incredible views. The filet was outstanding I only wish I was able to try more of the sides! The jalapeño corn bread is such a treat to start with and it only gets better.
