The venue was too hot without air conditioning. The music was too loud.

We were part of the VIP Experience Concert Series. I love Casa Loma especially when you can eat outside, listen to music into the evening. $85 per person plus food & drink is too too expensive for a guaranteed seat inside the Glass Pavilion. Food was average for the high price we paid. Music was good and we enjoyed the fact that it was Canadian talent. We sat for 15 minutes before I had to ask for water at our table. Zero service until I called over a server. That surprised me given where we were for dinner and the VIP price we had paid. Think twice before paying for the VIP Experience.

Very poor experience with the high tea for Mother’s Day. Our reservation was for 3:30, we arrived at 3:15 to check-in, and everybody who had a seating after 3pm was stuck in the check-in line for over an hour!! By the time we got to the front of the line it was 4:45, and we had to cancel our reservation because we were going to be late for our 5pm dinner reservations. For high tea, They only give you a 1.5 hour seating, however, the manager told us that apparently the seating before us overstayed their welcome and they couldn’t force them to leave. We were never contacted prior to our arrival, I wish we were, so that when we showed up, we didn’t have to stand in line for over an hour, to only have to cancel our reservation. So we never got to actually experience the high tea, my mother and our whole family were extremely dissapointed. Very poorly organized event on Casa Loma’s part.

The location and the savoury component of the meal was amazing, but it was overall very poorly managed. Line ups despite reservations which meant we spent an hour waiting in line to be seated 45 mins after our reservation when we could have spent it touring Casa Loma. Staff had no idea what was going on and couldn’t answer any questions. Would not recommend ordering anything in addition to the prepaid meal as it would probably take 30 mins to flag a staff member down who knows how to bring the bill and probably as long to pay it. Surprised given this is not a new event but we were told staff did not manage the 1.5 hour seating windows so everything was delayed. It was still a nice meal but we would not come back nor do we recommend

Went for Mother's Day High tea, a group of 4. My reservation was at 3:15pm and we weren't seated until almost 4:30pm. We were in line at 2:45pm. There was no communication from anyone working there letting us know why there was such a delay or any information. When we didn't get seated the girl ran off ahead of me lost her in the crowd. Finally got seated and recieved complementary mimosas and the server was amazing. The lineup to get in ruined the experience

If you’re booking for Mother’s Day you could go later and either way get to the front of the line. They were over 30 mins behind and giving priority to individuals who’d arrived over an hour late so don’t bother showing up early for this because if you get in later you’ll get to the front of the line which was ridiculous. Furthermore, I had told my server/messaged casaloma serval times about nut allergies and when we were given our high tea experience there were nuts in it. When I asked the server she insisted that there were not any nuts, and I questioned again and only then did she offer to go talk to the kitchen. After speaking with them she said it had nuts and had to grab us another tray. I understand that it was super busy and they are likely understaffed but threatening someone’s life like that for a severe allergy is absolutely not okay. Would not recommend coming here for an experience or if you have dietary restrictions. The service was terrible through and through and it was only the food that was good.

Poorly organized prior to seating, table was cleared efficiently (dirty plates, extra place setting). King our server was lovely and the food itself was well done but slight fail on the execution especially at check in.
