   We have been to casa D’Angelo Aventura many times. Mostly fine. We really want to like it so we decided to try again this Christmas Eve. All started well, waiter seemed attentive and we ordered relatively soon after sitting. Salads came out with good timing and then everything fell apart. Our waiter came by about two times two check on us and tell us dinner was on the way. Over an hour passed since salads were cleared. About 15 mins after the last check in, someone brought our whole fish presentation to show us and then plate it. 20 MINUTES LATER, we were served $110 cold branzino. COLD! It had been more than an hour and a half since we had ordered so there was no point in sending it back. We told the waiter, who was apologetic, and sent the manager over. He was also apologetic. And this is where I hesitate, not wanting to sound greedy…instead of taking something off the bill the manager gave us $100 gift card for a future visit. This seemed weird to us, why would we want to come back? Unfortunately, I wish we had said something else to the manager. So now we have $100 credit we aren’t anxious to use. I hate leaving a review like this, but for the price of dining here the whole episode is inexcusable.

   They tried to sit us alongside the bar at 5PM with very few people in the restaurant after complaining they moved us I ordered black spaghetti with lobster shrimp and clams and it was extremely salty I complained and nothing was done about it Very disappointed

   Excellent experience , all 8 of us had a great time and loved our delicious gourmet food . Everyone of the staff very pleasent and courteous . Great atmosphere and lighting .

   It is not our first time at the restaurant and we always thought it is the best Italian restaurant in Florida, and although I did not think it was possible, it got better. It is a heavenly experience. The steak tartare is the best I have ever had and the veal chop was so so juicy I could think that was possible. My wife had the risotto and it was delicious. The maitre’d Stephano is the best. As usual he runs the place magnificently. And, the entire service staff is five star.

   We love this neighborhood gem! I had a perfect martini, and my wife had a glass of wine from there single glass selection. We ordered the salad with light dressing, which came very wet, which we returned. My wife had a Bronzino, which is always the best in town here and I had a pasta with a lamb Ragu, which was exceptional. We’re counting the calories cause it’s the holidays time so I didn’t have dessert. They took the salad off the final bill, which was very reasonable. Exceptional service here is a constant and we love coming.

    My experience at this restaurant was fair. My waiter/server was excellent, but the food was just OK. I was very surprised that they did not extend birthday wishes by giving us at least one small cake on the house.
