So the food was excellent and the staff/service was efficient and very warm…the big issue was the dogs in the restaurant. We were placed at a table at the rear of the restaurant. About 10 minutes later a table arrived with a dog on a lead that sat under their table for the duration of the meal. About 20 minutes into our meal a rather noisy party arrived with a small dog in a bag . They sat right next to us. Unfortunately the dog didn’t stay in the bag and wandered along their seats ending up about 8 inches from me! The tables are v close at the back. The staff diligently asked if we had any allergies at the start of the meal.. we don’t have food allergies but I am allergic to dogs! I didn’t expect to encounter a dog in a restaurant like this and scanned the restaurant and there were no empty tables that we could move to. I had itchy eyes very quickly as well as congestion which lasted throughout that night. I really think that management should rethink their policy on dogs. We won’t be back until they do.

This was my second time dining at Casa Carmen and it wasn’t nearly as amazing as the first. The food was salty, the service wasn’t as attentive, and the whole experience was disappointing. Perhaps it was an off night but for the pricing it needs to be consistent.

Excellent spot for Sunday brunch! Went with my daughter and daughters-in-law. Perfect and relaxed ambiance with great and healthy food. Can’t wait to return.
