M Sushi Cary is Michael Lee's second location dedicated to high-quality seafood. Our menu is small, purposeful, and uses only very special seasonal seafood received directly from Japan, Korea, and the US. The quality of our dishes is a direct result of our dedication to fresh ingredients, and our emphasis placed on maintaining traditional Japanese and Korean Cuisine. We specialize in traditional nigiri and sashimi courses in addition to a once in a lifetime Grand Omakase. M Sushi was ranked in 2022 in OpenTable's top 100 restaurants in American. Also, the only restaurant to make the list from North Carolina.

    The Chef has created an amazing 7 course Omakase for New Years Eve dinner that is highlighted by the finest and freshest ingredients that are available. Course 1 - Mozuko "Noodle", Course 2 - Sashimi, Course 3 - Seafood dumpling & truffle, Course 4 - Nigiri, Course 5 - Panko Scallop, cauliflower, potato puree, shishito peppers, Course 6 - Grilled A5 Wagu, Course 7 - Black Rice ice-cream. Please be advised that this is a set menu so we will not be able to alter any dishes because of dietary restrictions or allergies. Wine & Sake pairing to add on will be available upon arrival. Come celebrate the New Year in style.

    Sushi was the best ever!! Appetizers are pricey but good! bar seating is very crowded but we were lucky to get reservations!

    We lived in NYC for years and this place reminds us of our favorite spot there. We had the Grand Omakase and it was incredible. We highly recommend!!

    By far, the best sushi anywhere I've tried in the area. It is absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious! It is a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
