   I had flounder stuffed with crab meat and it was very good. We also had the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and was outstanding

   Our group had a reservation for 7 at 5:30. We were seated in the covered patio area. It was uncomfortably cold for the whole group and very loud. We were not able to have a conversation With someone at the other end of the table. Our waitress was very kind but seemed a bit overwhelmed even though there were plenty of staff working. Maybe she is newer and we did not hold this against her but it did affect our experience. The food was ok. Our salads came out at the same time as our meals and lacked dressing or any flavor. Three of us had the French onion soup which was ok but very salty. 4 of us had the stuffed salmon and we all enjoyed that. We would have enjoyed our meals so much more if we were warmer. We were celebrating a birthday and honestly could not wait to leave.

   Overall disappointing. The hostess was outside having a conversation and didn’t follow us into the restaurant so we stood in the foyer for quite some time until she came in to seat us. The restaurant was not at all busy for a Fri afternoon. We were the only table in the dining room and there was a small private party. The server was pleasant, attentive and patient until we made our selections. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and when I picked it up pink colored, thin, soupy dressing dripped from the bread, likely stained from the dried cranberries but the consistency and the tinge is an indicator that it wasn’t fresh. There was negligible if any chicken in it as well, so my sandwich mainly consisted of diced apples and dried cranberries in a pink soupy liquid, perhaps whatever was left in the bottom of the bowl, with greens and a tomato slice, on toasted marbled rye bread. I never tasted or chewed on a piece of chicken. My friend had a minuscule, thin crab patty on a dry looking pretzel bun and although we didn’t discuss the quality of our meals, the fact there was a lot left on her plate spoke for itself. I have enjoyed the Carriage House in the past but likely will not be returning, which is unfortunate because I was looking forward to their new ownership.

   We had another excellent evening at The Carriage House. Lots of drink choices. We are beer drinkers & we are never disappointed. We appreciate that the food menu has so many choices. I just had a sandwich tonight because I was not very hungry. But I finished my chicken salad because it was so good. My husband loves the shepherd's pie. Dessert was a treat. This restaurant is convenient from Allentown & places south. It is a great halfway spot for us when we meet my cousin who lives closer to Pottstown.

   Had an Anniversary dinner with our parents. Lisa, our server, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and helpful with our beverage and meal choices. Dinner was delicious (oh my gosh! The mashed potatoes!). Dessert tray was lovely - we each thought our choice was delicious. Never disappointed when we dine here.

   Prices were really high for the type of “bar food we ordered. Service was good so no complaints there. I know prices have gone up in general but paying over $80 for a cheeseburger, BLT, and kids chicken finger meal is crazy.

   Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the service, but we’d like to clarify the pricing. Even if you ordered our most expensive burger at $16.50, along with a BLT and kids chicken finger meal, that total would come to $39.50. We're not sure how the total reached $80 based on the food alone. If you believe there was an error in your bill, please contact us as soon as possible so we can look into it. If you had any cocktails or beers with your meal, that might explain the difference. We hope to clear this up and see you again soon!

   Very friendly staff. Terrific service. Many things remain on the menu from the former owners. Very varied menu and good specials. The outdoor seating area is quite attractive. Linen napkins and table flowers and a candle would have been appreciated.

    We went for our anniversary dinner, cocktails were very good, wait staff was pleasant, food was bland (we had the nights special), desserts were also just middle of the road. It’s about a 30 minute drive for us but we won’t go back.
