   We ordered fish and chips which took about 20 -25 minutes to be served once we ordered. They were overdone almost to the point of burned and very greasy. The Cole slaw was left off my order so the server had to bring mine after I requested. I shouldn’t have bothered. It was only shredded cabbage and had nothing else added. Our server was polite and always complied with our requests; however , she was not as attentive as we had to get her attention to make requests. We definitely could not recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a quality meal.

   Had reservation but ended up sitting in bar area high top where it was louder than normal due to some baseball fans really into the game. We liked the Octoberfest specials: good beer and the roasted apple kraut was outstanding. Overall was fine but would have preferred to have been seated at a regular table upstairs especially now that reservations are more or less required if you don't want to wait an hour on the weekend.

   Great food and great service! It’s our first choice when we are in Chapel Hill. Our only disappointment was that TWO of the entrees (and one side) we tried to order were sold out.

   Hi Susan, Thank You for your review. We are sorry about not having some of your favorite Items yesterday. We are a made from scratch kitchen and sometimes we run out of items.    Visited with 6 people, and every one of us was very impressed with our meals. I had one of their seasonal specials, the chipotle smash burger. It was excellent! Casual atmosphere and a great place in general. I will be returning!

   Overall Okay…but the experience fell short. Service was slow, with our food taking over an hour to arrive. Despite waiting nearly two hours, we had to leave before receiving the final portion of our meal. While the staff was apologetic, the delay overshadowed any positive aspects. If you’re not in a rush and don’t mind potentially incomplete meals, it might be worth a try. Otherwise, manage your expectations.

   The hamburguer Carolina is awesome and the crafted beers are delicious. Everyone there is super kind.
