   Never disappoints. The value is unreal for the food, honestly we spend more at chain restaurants for dollar store quality food. Caro is fresh food that tastes amazing and they have gluten free options for me which is amazing. They have gluten free pizza, pasta, and we had their fried polenta fries which I would eat as a meal alone. A favourite date night spot.

   Wood fired pizza (pepperoni) was excellent, as were the waffles and eggs Benedict that we all had. Caro spritz is. Nice light drink as well. Definitely will return, even though we’re a 40 minute drive. Pizza was some of the best I’ve had and a solid 8.5/10

   Excellent service, delicious food. Nice ambiance. Delicious pasta dishes. Appetizers of Cesar salad and Caro bread delightful!

   We go quite often. But Valentines day was bad. Place didn't seem to have heat. Pretty chilly. Most diners kept their jackets on. No reason from staff on lack of heat. Caro bread was cold. We were going to hang out for cocktails and then head downstairs but left early and went somewhere else.

   Disappointed to say the least ; had high expectations based on my experience at the original Caro on Ottawa Street , but this location was not worth the 2 hour drive from up north; they sat us in the cold old garage in the winter even though had made reservations a week before ; food and service were lack luster .. hope they improve in the future

   This was my fourth or fifth time at Caro and I will continue to come back! The food is fantastic and well priced. The service is attentive but they never rush you. The only qualm I have is with the bench seats on the perimeter of the restaurant - they could use a little more cushion haha. But absolutely would recommend to anyone! The perfect special occasion spot!

   I always choose Caro on James for great food and great service. I also choose it as a reliable place for not being too loud. When I am meeting for business, my connections welcome the ambience that has music, but is never too loud for good discussion.
