Food was good. Place is cute but the wait time needs some help. I made a reservation for 12:45 wasn’t seated until 1:25. Overall besides that I really enjoyed myself and the food was good and the drinks were very good! I would go back!

I love that a diner-type place opened up in Vienna, and we'd been following its construction for quite a while. And while it originally opened up as the very cool-looking Yellow Diner, it quickly switched over to Carnegie, with New York vibes and the promise of great diner food. We'd heard that a lot of friends visited, and the resounding vertict was decent food but way overpriced for what you get. Figuring I would try it out, I brought my mother there for a lunch. Unfortunately what we'd heard was absolutely true. Despite decent service and a nice interior design (that was cluttered up with fake flowers and cheap holiday decor), the food was definitely disappointing and quite expensive for what we got. The Farmer's Bleu salad sounded excellent, but it was a rather small, flat bowl of half-heartedly thrown-together ingredients that I'd expect from an understaffed Panera. My mother's salad looked the same: a lovely sounding menu description and a skimpy, disappointing plate delivered to us. Perhaps they're better (a and provide better value) for more traditional menu items like breakfast, but I can easily think of better places for a lunch.

First time visit Mice decor. Menu is Amazing Deserts and sandwhich selections were too much. Made you hungry just looking. Waiter was Ok pictures made entrees Look spltable Waiter says that and Fries wood work for us. We could order something else That was the clue we missed sandwhich came on small plate. With side salad and small portion of sauerkraut and coleslaw. My wife said is that it?! Fries came in separate heated dish on heated plate. Novel Pastrami Reuben cheese was not melted , Russian dressing only on 1/2 of sandwich Not grilled at all. 5-6 bites and it was honestly not fair. For 23.00 our bill was 34.00 w/fries and 1- ice tea. No silverware on table none was offered but 2- different servers dropped off desert menus Wife decided to pass on the salad and we left. Paid 18% anyway Won’t go back. Mark

I’m just going to say it… Diner it is not… but rather a sophisticated eatery with perhaps a few diner options. The place is very nice as are the prices (aka $21 hamburgers). Price is high for what you get, and food was underwhelming. However, service was very good and wait time under a reservation for a Sunday brunch was quite reasonable… all in all… chic eats with the prices to prove were are not a Diners!

Not at all what we expected. Mediocre food at best. My husband got the crispy chicken sandwich the bun was cold and the chicken was average, the fries very soggy not crisp. I got the lobster roll with sweet potato fries, lobster roll was soggy and had a variation of thousand island dressing so it was more like lobster salad and the sweet potato fries were burned on the outside and somehow still soggy. The coffee was lukewarm. My Mimosa was the highlight of the meal as it tasted like it was made with fresh orange juice, We were excited to try the 24 layer chocolate cake but after the lunch items we decided to skip dessert. Perhaps our expectations were too high so it was a letdown. Our server was great, he did his best and was disappointed we didn’t finish our items.

Exactly the same experience as I had at their restaurant in Manhattan-excellent in all respects. The menu is incredibly extensive and everything I’ve ever had there has been absolutely great. (And their pastrami is better than Katz’s of NYC).
