   Great fresh food and brilliant service as per usual a lovely team of people working there… some great gifts on the shop area as well.

   Hadn't been for years but took a chance for a bday lunch. Staff were friendly and food was nice, particularly impressed with the sharing starter board. Great kids menu too.

   I come here often and the service etc is very varied, however this time, despite there only being two servers, the service was excellent. The food is normally very good and tonight was no exception. I am a creature of habit and I usually have the chicken Milanese with salad which was well cooked but still moist. I didn't really want to have a dessert but the choice was so tempting that I couldn't resist. They used to do a "cafe reale" which was a dessert and a cup of coffee or tea and I used to have the spiced figs with mascarpone cheese. This has been taken off the menu and pistachio cream-filled doughnuts were added. Their rose wine (Pinot Grigio blush - what else?) was good, better than some I've tasted.

   Food poor and overall experience not great My wife had carbonara which tasted funny and was left , two of us had the smallest Sea Bass fillet ever , service not great only one guy serving who to his credit did pretty well considering he was also having to deal with the moped delivery riders also , but it does impact the overall experience Value for money not worth it in my opinion for what we had and the overall quality of the food being poor

   Lovely Sunday brunch at Carluccios Walton on Thames. All the usual stuff for brunch but done well and with great staff and service.

    Booked a table last Friday @7pm for 4 at the Walton branch. No many people in the restaurant as a result the ambience was quiet which was not an issue. Very shortly after we arrived we had the waiter asking us if we were ready to order. Had to turn him away as we had been chatting and hadn’t had time to look at the menu. The waiter appeared to be in a rush to get us to order. The food arrived in good time but was disappointed with a couple of dishes we ordered. The Hamburger was dry and disappointing and the Penne Giardiniera portion size was small such that my husband was hungry after the meal and he had to resort to having some food when he returned home. Disappointed after a night out that wasn’t cheap. Puddings were tasty. After the meal we carried on talking with our friends. Unfortunately @ 10 the lights were brightened giving all the guests a subtle reminder that the staff wanted to go home. The atmosphere became a bit awkward and we decided to leave! Overall a disappointing evening given how much we generally like visiting Carluccio’s.
