   After reading several reviews we decided to try Cardinale. The service was excellent. All staff very incredibly attentive and congenial. Unfortunately our food was all really one note. We started with the Calamari which was cooked perfectly however the fryer oil was dirty and left an unappetizing bitterness on our palettes. My daughter ordered the Buccatini which she loved, though it was missing some acid to cut the richness. I ordered the Veal Saltimbocca The sauce was delicious, the veal far too chewy and fatty. The best part of the dish was the Swiss Chard. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other so visit really, and for these special occasions when we can treat ourselves it was quite disappointing. Sadly I don’t think we’ll ever go back.

   Staff were lovely. It’s hard to get good service these days. But they go above and beyond. The food was delicious, everything we ordered was a hit. The ambiance is perfect to interact with your group, not too loud, great lighting. Would recommend to anyone.

   Appetizers broccoli and calamari were delicious. Focaccia excellent. A party of 4, we all had different entrees. Gnocchi, spaghetti and veal were excellent. I chose lasagna and although delicious, it came so hot I was unable to eat it for quite a while. Served way too hot. A few attempts burned my tongue. Ample servings. No room for dessert.

   Great energy! The service is calm and deliberate with some outstanding dishes and cocktails. Try the house amaro!

   We came for a date night and had the best service from our server Tyler. Definitely recommend getting the fresh focaccia, calamari, and the squid ink pasta is to die for. You get so much seafood in it it’s definitely worth the value, and please don’t miss out on the tiramisu!! Best dinner I’ve had in a long time.
