   Delicious Veal Parmesan! Tender veal with a crust full of flavor & wonderful tomatoes over pasta. A generous portion too. Excellent, friendly service, cool lighting in a historic space with comfortable seating. Go! You’ll love it!

   My second time at Candela Cucina and it was wonderful. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. The whipped ricotta and the cacio e pepe - YUMMMM! The wine list is also fantastic. Will definitely be back... and soon.

   As before, the food was fabulous. Lunch specials are a great treat. The atmosphere is beautiful, Italian and new flowers are now in the outdoor garden. Hope it opens soon if weather cooperates. Selina, the manager as always, made her appearance to check on the service and food. A very welcoming experience.

    I wish I could give this review more than 5 stars! Everything was fantastic. We usually sit at the bar and this was our first time dining at a table since the restaurant was reopened. Ray our server was outstanding. Everything he suggested was amazing. Highly recommend the Italian chopped salad as an app. We both got parm for our entree and being from the Boston area originally, we both agreed that it blew away anything we ever got in the North End. I was skeptical about the vodka sauce/red sauce combo but it was so delicious I actually asked for sauce to go!!! Finally, Ray recommended the pistachio martini for dessert and it was also the best Ive had! I couldnt possibly recommend Candela any more, by far the best Italian I have had since moving to the South Coast!
