Campisi's Downtown is owned and operated by David Campisi and his family. The restaurant has a long and storied history, beginning in 1946 when David's great-grandfather bought a bar with a small kitchen and began making pizzas - the first ever in Dallas. Today, Campisi's Downtown still makes its famous pizza (you can even build your own if you like), and also serves up a huge array of pasta dishes, salads, appetizers and entrées. For dessert, try the tiramisu or Italian cream cake. There's something for every taste at Campisi's downtown, so bring the family and enjoy delicious beef, veal, chicken and seafood dishes (and pizza!) all made in the traditional Italian style.

We wanted a relaxed dinner and love Italian food. The food,ambiance and service were great. It felt like a neighborhood family run restaurant, which it was. Would eat there regularly if we could and will the next time we visit Dallas.

Food was great and the services was even better! Tuesday half off bottles of wine and the free bread were my favorite! Not their fault but parking sucks so plan accordingly :)
