European
Camp and Furnace"s core weekday offer is heavily influenced by Northern Europe, Scandinavia and the Baltic states - championing curing, smoking and preserving techniques.

Weekends see the venue host three large weekly food events:

Fridays:
Food Slam - where food meets drink, meets dance music. Street food traders plus Camp and Furnace’s own, offer a variety of menus, going head to head with local DJs and the venue’s accomplished mixologists.

Saturdays:
Food Slam - where food meets drink, meets dance music. Street food traders plus Camp and Furnace’s own, offer a variety of menus, going head to head with local DJs and the venue’s accomplished mixologists

Sundays:
As the last Food-Slamers crawl to bed, Camp and Furnace resets for Sunday Roast - communal dining on long trestle tables.

Overall an excellent experience. The venue is a little different, very big warehouse with long tables. The service was great, very friendly and attentive throughout. The roast dinner portions were generous (shared veg between the group but no need to fight over the last roast potato) The veggie roast was delicious, as was the veg gravy that came in its separate jug. Also excellent Yorkshires, some of the best I have tasted. Wine was also great. We didn't try starters or desserts. Would definitely eat here again.

Camp & Furnace may not be fancy but what it lacks in that respect it makes up for in excellent food & a quirky no frills atmosphere in a communal dinning hall in a warehouse. Sunday lunch at its best. Booking recommended as this is a hidden gem in Liverpool & very popular. Doggy bags available for those the quantity defeats. Great value for money x

We visited Camp and Furnace to celebrate my partners Birthday. We received a very warm welcome and were seated quite quickly. The service was really efficient considering it was Mothers Day !!! The only slight disappointment was the temperature of the food. The dining area is situated in what is effectively a large warehouse so I accept that the food could go cold quickly. Bearing this in mind I do think that the establishment should take this into consideration when sending the food out , it does need to be hot. Having said that the food was delicious and we had a really nice experience . We would go back but we would request that the food be hot. Don't let this put you off just be aware !! !!

The Sunday lunch is very good. However we did have to make our reservation about a month in advance. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The servers immediately noticed when we were finished with our plates and brought everything quickly. The music was a little loud -- my boyfriend and I sat on the same side of the table so we could hear each other speak without straining.

Came for Sunday lunch with a few friends and had a lovely time. Different concept which totally works... Possibly because the food was so spectacular. I would safely say the best Sunday Lunch in Liverpool!

Right start off your sat on a bench in a old factory that's it... If it's cold outside you may need to leave your coat on. But this venue is just great always a great feel. The Sunday lunch main is to die for we had the lamb shanks that come with lovely big Yorkshire puds roast potatoes like your nan used to do and a selection of tasty fresh veg then a jug of gravy. The pudding we had the sticky toffee pudding for 4 to share but it could feed more they give you that much!!! Yes the building is basic but everything else is just great love it !!!!

Came here for drinks recently and enjoyed the place. I was told the roast dinners were amazing so took the family. Chicken was ok however all veg was hard and uncooked, potatoes soft but not browned, parsnips were hard and not roasted. The room was big and cold and food wise Everything got cold really quickly and gravy was bland. I had high expectations but was disappointed. They would really benefit testing the food before sending it out

2 words can describe our experience, AWFUL & DISAPPOINTING, we had a table booked for 3.30pm on Sunday the 1st of November, we were sat down at our table a few minutes before that time. Our server Chris, was very friendly and seemed eager to please but didn't know the guest beers that were available but recommended a beer all the same. 30 minutes after we had placed our food order, Chris returned to advise that one of the staters was not available. which was a bit of a surprise that it took half an hour to find this out!, new starters were ordered and arrived about 10 minutes later, one starter was ok the other (mushrooms - to replace the starter not available) was bland and greasy. On collecting the starter plates our server advised he would let the Kitchen know we were ready for our second course to try and avoid another wait..........this was at quarter past 4pm..........by qtr to 5 we were contemplating just paying for our starters and beers and leaving, however the main plates then arrived one was piping hot, one was cold, Lamb Shank, roast beef, yorkshires and all the trimmings arrived at 10 to 5, Chis apologised on the wait and off he popped. veggies and gravy dished out, Yessss!! roast dinner here we come!!......................COLD COLD COLD - not even luke warm at best. that was the straw that broke the games back. we called Chris over asked for the bill for starters and beers. On heading the Maitre'D station we spoke the the duty manager ( a young Irish lady with blonde hair) whose first words were so you didn't like any of the food so you don't want to pay? Eye Roll, after relaying the whole disappointing rigmarole she thanked us for the feedback and that she would pass the comments on to the kitchen, beers paid for off we went to try and sort lunch somewhere else. We had heard such great things about Camp & Furnace but turned out to be a great big let down, Kitchen and front of house need a rocket up them, the place was not massively busy either. :-(

The quality of food and service is very good. Sadly the food portions are inadequate, limited vegetables, children running around our table screaming and generally being left alone by parents. I had high hopes however I will not return and could not recommend. Overall expensive for listed food.
