   Made a reservation and specifically noted it was for a birthday.. Not sure why they even ask during the booking, if there not going to actually do anything for the birthday. It's a nice place, attractive people.. But $20 for a tequila soda? Not to mention the 20 minutes we had to wait in between drinks. Our server was nice, but not very attentive. At one point she gave the excuse that "I guess they're making us do drinks at a different bar now" .. which is why it took so long. In the end we paid over $300 for two people to eat pasta and have some drink drinks (that took a year and a day) Not worth the hype..

   Had an amazing experience here for our yearly Christmas dinner. I highly recommend this trendy restaurant to anyone. Food was great, portions were perfect and service was top notch. Very cool ambiance as well. Will be coming back here soon!

   I recently made dinner reservations for myself and a friend, and we were both excited to try this restaurant based on the photos and positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Despite requesting a booth in my reservation, we were not accommodated. My friend, who arrived earlier while I parked, waited 30 minutes without receiving any service. When I inquired about our booth request, the hostesses were dismissive and unprofessional, responding with, “If you want me to kick people out of their tables, I can’t get you a booth or an indoor table.” We were ultimately seated outside in an undesirable corner facing the sidewalk, with loud music making conversation difficult. Even then, we waited an additional 15 minutes, totaling 45 minutes without service, before deciding to leave. The environment was more of a club scene, crowded and noisy, with limited space and a party-oriented atmosphere. The aesthetics also did not match the photos, which may reflect a better ambiance earlier in the day. Thankfully, we found another restaurant where we enjoyed excellent service and dining.    Very good food and service. Brunch on Saturday was a scene for young people drinking and having a great time. Music was so loud it was hard to hear regular conversation, but that seems to fit the vibe of the place.

   The food was fantastic. Creative, beautifully presented, and delicious. The service was excellent our waiter was very attentive and delightful. HOWEVER, the music was far, far too loud. Even the 20 somethings in our group agreed that it was distracting and annoying during brunch. The mix was actually great, and I told the DJ so. However the decibel meter on my phone pegged out at 94 pretty consistently. 70 and below is considered safe, and levels above 85 can actually cause hearing damage. So, take that information and use it as you will. Unfortunately, despite the fabulous food, I will probably not go back.

    Great atmosphere and ambiance. We went on a Monday night and it wasn’t busy at all. The food was excellent. All four dishes that everyone had were fantastic. The humus and pita bread appetizer is a must to start off your meal. Would highly recommend Cala!
