One of my favorite places in East Bay. Good coffee; good food; nice garden space in back. Can’t be in a rush, ‘tho. Sometimes short-staffed.

Perfect spot to celebrate mother’s day! Delicious food, beautiful garden, and sweet attentive staff. Cafenated is my favorite place to enjoy brunch in the sunshine!

I’ve enjoyed the avocado toast (with and without salmon) as well as the breakfast burrito and burger in the past, and usually love the food, so Mother’s Day Brunch was surprisingly subpar… Table - 5/5 (nicely set, well located next to a heat lamp on a chilly morning) Service - 4/5 Food - 2/5 (beignet croissants and fresh fruit were the stars of the “brunch board”; waffles were room-temp and soft, which was an odd counterpoint to the room-temp spicy fried chicken that was tender and unexpectedly not crunchy; bacon was a bit limp)

Food and coffee are fine, as is the ambience. Salads, Burritos, omelettes, Waffles, etc. are all very good. Cafenated is now our go-to place for breakfast with friends. Be aware that there really is now indoor seating. Reservations are accepted but only for the tables in the covered and heated outdoor back patio. But- some areas are heated better than others. We still like it.

A great vibe and delightful food options from salmon toast to avocado eggs Benedict. Perfect for any brunch moment. Attentive and engaged servers stood out and shined warmth on our family for Dad’s day.

Food really subpar, servers were super nice but they were really understaffed. Pretty sure the chicken they served with the chicken and waffles was the boneless wings from Safeway. Like not being funny or anything, it was genuinely the Safeway boneless wings and they weren’t fresh 😭 the patio is really cute though.
