Great food and great service. Went for breakfast because their Belgium waffles are the best! Mary was our server and she did a great job, friendly and professional.

The hostess made us feel unwelcomed. I don't need a smile - definitely wasn't expecting a middle aged lady to sulk and not even make eye contact when speaking to us. The waiter taking our order then described the soup of the day, cheeseburger soup, as all ground up like "baby food". I don't think anyone cares about what they're doing, and it shows... not coming again if I can help it. Unfortunately, Midland doesn't have many options.

The cafe is tiny, make reservations. We were early enough to be seated at a table by the window as I requested even though there were only two of us. I had the avocado toast and a latte, absolutely excellent! My husband had the eggs benedict and a latte. The service was great and we thought really hard about having a delectable pastry but declined since we are trying to stay on our diets. This is an excellent elegant place for brunch.

Had a really nice dinner as Zinc, the service and food were both excellent. The dining area is very nice and cozy with the fireplace being that it was a cold snowy night. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if they had some holiday lights or greenery.

This was the second time we have been to this restaurant. Great atmosphere, very courteous and attentive servers and food was great. Dinner is available from the $25-$50 range. A little bit high priced, but the quality was very good. We went to celebrate my son’s birthday and the extra attention they gave him was great. Recommended For a special night out.

Our server was not very polite as she refused to bring us bread even after requesting bread. My friend ordered hot water and was charged $5 for hot tea and our server never brought her tea bag(s). When asked about the charge our server refused to take it off our bill. We ended up talking to the manager twice and he wasn’t very polite either but he reluctantly took off the $5 charge for tea bag that was never brought out to her.

Good morning! I am sorry that this was the experience you had when dining with us. You are correct bread should be available upon request at any time during service and we will make sure that we address this with our staff. The five-dollar charge for tea was because your guest had brought outside tea with them which we do not normally allow without the charge. This would be similar to when a guest wants to bring in their own bottle of wine to enjoy, we charge a corking fee for bring in an outside beverage. I do apologize for the confusion and once again this is our fault for not explaining that better during your time dining with us. Once again, we do apologize for the overall experience and hope that you will join us again in the future.
