When we got to the café Vienna, they told us they did not have a reservation. I showed them your confirmation, , but they said they don’t do open table Anymore. This is very disappointing became we came from an hour away in Philadelphia and we’re meeting people from Northern New Jersey. This was very bad. You should take that restaurant off Your List so that itdoesn’t happen again.

For as many times as I've walked and driven by it, I was excited to try Cafe Vienna. Unfortunately, for all its charm, the experience fell flat. I'm not sure why they take reservations as this is a very small cafe with limited, first-come seating, we were lucky to grab a table. No wait service, you order at the counter. They have a good selection of omelets, sandwiches, and other brunch items. Oddly, rather than providing menus, they had printouts of some pages of the menus, but you have to go hunting through multiple piles of paper to find what you're looking for. Service needs serious improvement. Somehow they managed to lose our orders twice - it took 3 separate people taking our orders before we finally got our food, nearly an hour after we first ordered (and one of the sandwiches they gave us was the wrong order). By this point, they were out of utensils, so half our party received plastic knives. The toast came out long after the rest of the meal. The food was mediocre. I do appreciate that the owner was there and comped the table with dessert. A much appreciated gesture to help recover the experience. I really hope they can improve, because the restaurant has great ambiance and a lot of potential, and I'd very much like to see them succeed!

We used to love it, was our go-to brunch place but looks like they underwent a management change and its definitely gotten worse. The croissants and bread in buffet were also stale vs. before used to be very fresh. The cheese in the omelette was sliced cheese vs. shredded so didnt melt at all and made consistency odd. Overall very sad that it has deteriorated so much after management change.

My reservation was confirmed for 6:15 pm for Saturday when we arrived at 5:45pm we were told that the kitchen is closed it was a total disaster we had to go elsewhere a total disregard for the customer I can not recommend this establishment to anyone

I made the reservation for a party of 6 on Open Table For a brunch on Sunday. I even printed the confirmation. When we got there they could not find our reservation and didn’t seem to care about it, even when I pulled the printed copy I had of the reservation. Without demonstrating any concern for the six costumers coming to the cafe for the first time—two of whom children—they did not even apologize, simply saying that we would have to wait outside until a table vacated. This was the worst service I have ever had in Princeton. The place is very small. If the temperature is warmer the tables outside help. Otherwise, their capacity is very limited. That was the reason for the reservation in advance in the first place. It din’t seem to work and they didn’t seem to care.

Made the mistake of not checking how many reviews it has before making the reservation. Service was horrendously slow and honestly just strange. The food came out before one of our juices, we asked for something when the food came out and it didn't come until we we're done eating. The space was small enough that I could hear all the other tables complaining about not receiving drinks/orders/menus, and one table left cash on the table before their bill came. The weekend brunch, which is what got me to book, was entirely wrapped in cling wrap and jammed against the counter. A very big disappointment after thinking I'd found a solid affordable Saturday brunch in Princeton that takes reservations.

A welcome place with pleasant outdoor seating. Outstanding omelettes, breads, and cakes. The service has long been spotty, though well-intentioned. Sometimes it takes several requests to get water or the promised steamed milk.

They were closing and waiting for us. I asked if we should go somewhere else. They said no. But we were rushed and ended up eating with people cleaning around us and the smell of bleach. Also don’t get why no points. That has always been how open table works. I come here for good options that reward me. Not fo this. It was our Christmas lunch and I trusted your judgement and the way you keep your reward system.
