   We drove 45 minutes to come to this restaurant for Valentine’s Day. This place is authentic. The food is amazing, the service is excellent and the price is good. I highly recommend it

   My wife and I went to Café L'viv on Feb 13. We received a warm welcome from our server Tanya when we walked through the door. We found her attentive and knowledgeable with food and provided helpful suggestions. She also helped us pick the perfect wine and even provided samples for us to taste. The food came in a prompt manner and was served piping hot. I ordered Ukrainian pork and chicken cabbage rolls. My wife ordered Ukrainian goulash. We sampled each others meals and both of us loved both dishes. The ambience was excellent and the music was tastefully chosen. The school buses were cancelled that day as well as many lunch reservations. As a result we had the restaurant to ourselves and a very enjoyable experience ensued. A sincere and big thankyou to Tanya for making this an unforgettable meal.

   Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with a friend. We each started with the beet borsht soup with added meat chunks. (Beans are also an option.) It has such a flavourful broth and is served with sour cream, a fresh bun and their in-house butter. Then we split an order of home made chicken and onion perogies. Yum! Instead of dessert we opted for cappuccinos. All was delicious, fresh and hot. And they were most content to allow us to stay and chat after the lunch hour appeared to be over. Will definitely be back.

   Cafe Lviv is consistently excellent. Service is warm yet professional, food is delicious and fresh, ambience is elegant and cozy. It’s my favourite local restaurant. I go there regularly and had a special meal there for my birthday-Tetiana made it so special!

    I’ve been a number of times to Lviv, it only gets better. I recommend the cabbage rolls and the honey cake!
