Cafe Azafran serves up an award-winning blend of Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine. Recently taking home the 2019 Top Chef of the Culinary Coast for the second year in a row was Café Azafran, their quality of food and freshness speaks for itself. Each dish from tapas to our large plates will leave you satisfied and looking forward to your next visit. Menu is subject to change at Chefs request! We have live entertainment every Thursday!!!!
Located on the ocean block of Baltimore Avenue, in downtown Rehoboth Beach, Cafe Azafran has a cozy dining area, with a spacious covered screened in back porch, in order to enjoy the ocean air while you eat fresh, delicious menu items.

This was our 2nd time this year coming here for their off-season special. Service was excellent, food also excellent and as before, large portions. You can say the dishes were imaginative and well done so perfect for foodies. Even though we got there about 7pm, that's late for this time of the year so we ended up at their last available table near the front door (you got a blast of cold air whenever somebody goes thru so recommend ask for another table if possible). Also being late, they were out of the paella special but still offfered this steak dish with different side options. Steak was perfectly done! I'd highly recommend this place off-season for their specials and in-season too for fantastic food , ambience and service.

Always a good experience. Would love to see an expanded wine list but the values are very fair. Better stemware would be nice as well. Billy did a great job as he has for years. We will return!

Cafe Azzfran is my go-to restaurant in Rehoboth Beach DE where I visted often in the spring, summer and fall. The Mediterranean-inspired menu is varied and high quality and a diner can go the tapas route with several small plates or go for one large plate which I did on this visit: Spanish lamb meatballs on a bed of potato puree with chopped kale garnish. Wonderful at $28! I was solo so sat at the convivial bar and Billy made me a super lemondrop Martini to go with my food! I'll be back soon!
