Cabra is one of the city’s most energetic and atmospheric restaurants. Although the food is varied and interesting, it is not outstanding. Dishes are hit or miss, although nothing was outright unlikeable. After several visits here with hefty bills (each shared plate is about $20 and cocktails are about $18-20) I was left questioning whether the value is really worth it. Considering how much the Chicago food scene has to offer, after two visits to Cabra, I won’t be rushing back.

The manager was incredibly accommodating for my Bday. They treated us so well. Definitely will recommend it. Spence was very loud tho. But excellent food

Overall great experience. The terrace should have better heating options in the winter, and the alcoholic drinks are a little overpriced based on the little amount of liquor used and compared to other restaurants in Fulton market. The food is delicious and the service is great.

This is a very nice restaurant with great food and service, It is a shame that they choose to add a very tacky 4% service charge to the bill. There is a note that the charge can be removed upon request, but in my opinion a quality restaurant does not stoop to such tactics.

I recently booked a lunch for my friend’s birthday, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The service could have been much better, and the food wasn’t Peruvian as we had hoped. Overall, I was expecting a more positive experience, especially for such a special occasion.

I had amazing service from start to finish. I was running late, and I talked to the hostess and she was more than gracious. My server was outstanding as well. By the time me and my friends got there they ran out of the goat empanadas, but my waiter give me other options that served my appetite. I love the vibe here as well as the drinks. I’ll be back:)
