Butera’s Restaurant of Bay Shore is the newest addition to the Butera Restaurant Group. Owners Gary Butera, Martin &Laurie Butera, Nick Zografos & David Novak have provided cool green & white panels, brick, subway tile, marble and original artwork. The decor adds a sleek industrial edge to compliment the tone in the casual, comfortable dining room & spacious bar. Garage doors bring the “outside” in to add to the open, airy industrial look.
The Butera’s kitchen, since it’s inception in Massapequa 1991 to present day Bay Shore , has and still does offer traditional rustic Italian cuisine with a modern flair alongside unique specials showcasing authentic ingredients and locally sourced products.
The Butera’s family relishes the opportunity to begin a new chapter in Bay Shore, and wants nothing more than to serve and delight the community for years to come.

    I had a great experience at Butera’s. They were great with changing my reservation last minute and being flexible for accommodations. The food came out super quick and staff was readily available to help. This might be one of the best meals I have had out dinning.

    Four of us dined here on Friday night and it was a very good experience. We’ve been here quite a few times and it’s always been a solid meal. Drinks are really good, except for the pour on the port wine at the end of our meal— a little stingy. Last night we started with the chicken meatball pot and it never disappoints. . The grilled calamari we ordered never came so not really sure what happened there. For dinner, two of us shared the pork chop and the special Mediterranean salad. Delicious! Great meal. One person had the veal Milanese and another the gnocchi. They were also very happy with their meals. Portions are large! For dessert we shared chocolate raspberry cheesecake and vanilla ice cream. The cheesecake was very good! Our server was very pleasant and the restaurant has a good vibe. All in all we had a really nice time and very good meal!
