   This is one of our favorite restaurants in San Diego and just found out it’s in Newport Beach too. What a find!

   It was an amazing time, even for our toddler. The chef was so interactive with our little one through the window and provided dough, sauce, and cheese to make his own pizza. It can be challenging to dine with little ones, but the entire staff engaged with our child and they had a blast thanks to the friendly staff. Food was amazing as usual - it is the best pizza you’ll have in California. Pasta was cooked to perfection as well. I look forward to visiting again with our little one.

   First time trying this Italian restaurant and I was excited. My girlfriend and I were celebrating Valentine’s Day. All of the dishes were so fresh and the service was outstanding. Couldn’t believe how big the dishes were as well for the price! Can’t wait to go back.

   Great authentic pizza & crust. Service was poor as it feels like they are understaffed with waiters - even though plenty of busboys. Felt like only 1-2 waiters for entire restaurant on busy Sat night. We’ve been regulars to the Coronado location & service is better there with more accommodating menu options.

   Our experience was incredible. The food was delicious, our server was fantastic and the ambiance was lovely. 10/10 we will definitely be coming back!

   The food was great, and the servers were nice just very hard to get their attention! Even with arriving right on time for our reservation we had to wait 20 minutes for a 2 person table. Then the servers were taking orders of people who had been sat after us before our drink order had ever even been taken. They are trying and the food is really good, but I hope service can get it together!

   Excellent experience at Buona Forchetta, fresh food and with flavor. Excellent price range compared to Newport Beach average prices. Wonderful service from a Italian, Giancarlo. He is fun and have a great knowledge on Italian wine.would I recommend? I don't recommend, I urge you to go and try it

   Went on a Wed. nite in Feb and restaurant was hopping! Noise level is a little loud but still we really enjoyed our evening. Service was excellent with multiple staff and manager always watching and helping when needed. We chose the Burrata tomato salad and two pizzas along with Chocolate mousse dessert. The salad was good but not great (not enough flavor), but the pizzas were outstanding! Crust is delicious and loads of topping options to choose from. Highly recommend, Chocolate mousse excellent too. Parking no issue during the middle of the week but be aware it may be challenging on busy weekends.

   A colleague recommended this place and we went on a Sunday night to find it surprisingly busy given the time of year -- a good sign! The menu was very well laid out with a focus on Pasta and Pizza; however there were a number of appetizers (heavy and light), salads and several specials including full meat and fish dishes and several vegan options as well. Don't forget desserts - the Tiramisu and Cannoli were really, really good!
