I love Buco and we go there often! Unfortunately, tonight, the ambiance was off. There was very little “vibe”; usually there is fun music playing. Tonight there was nothing and it just felt like we were eating in a cafeteria. Disappointing because we brought out of town guests. Food and service remained top notch though!

The food and service were top notch, tried a number of appetizers all excellent. The pizza crust was authentic Italian- so good! Would definitely recommend the BUCO RESTAURANT to others.

Our first time there was last night, and it was quite nice. I always prefer a more intimate atmosphere, but once you sit down and absorb everything, it all works. The menu has a great assortment of different Italian appetizers and starters, along with a more than sufficient cocktail and wine list. The main course menu had a great selection of meats, pasta, and pizza choices. We both had the beef short ribs, served on a wooden plank with a large amount sides that's more than sufficient for one person. The short rib was literally melt in your mouth tender, did not use my knife at all, just pulled apart with my fork. Dessert menu was standard for any mid to upper level fine dining, creme brulee, tiramisu ect. Overall the service was sufficient, menu leaves more than enough consideration for a possible return trip , and the one thing I liked most was it was definitely a place you could bring the kids if you're so inclined. The was a seamless mixture of adults and families dining and everyone was happy. Edmonton has a real shortage of Italian restaurants, but Buco certainly hits the mark. We'll definitely be returning.

Went for Valentines dinner, never been before. Day before got a message saying we had a max of 1 hour and 30 mins. Showed up and felt very rushed. Sat down and service was fast and quick, but not what we were looking for on Valentine’s Day. We wanted to sit and talk and enjoy the meal and each other presence but made us feel we couldn’t do that, everything felt rushed and they just wanted to turn tables, Food was excellent and would go back on any other day than Valentine’s Day. I hope regular days aren’t as rushed as I would like to go back and enjoy the meal and atmosphere

Easy to get reservation. Lots to choose from on menu. Prices very reasonable. Server was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. Food came very fast, was delicious and hot. Would go back again.

The food, service and ambience are topnotch. We went to celebrate my little's birthday and the staff made her feel special! Our server was super nice and hit the right balance between being available and giving us uninterrupted time. Buco is always a great choice!
