We go to BRQ fairly regularly. This is the first time our food was so-so. My wife and i had the BBQ ribs. Usually juicy and tender. But this time, her's and mine were hard as rocks and dry. Service was enjoyable and it was New Year's Eve. The restaurant was not crowded so the noise level was very low. Everything was nice as usual except for the food. Never the less, we are fans of the restaurant and will continue to eat there. Happy New Year !

                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Were we’re the for lunch and celebrating a birthday. Food was delicious. Olivia was/is an outstanding server, ask for her! The mountain slice of carrot cake was loved by all. BRQ is a staple in our repertoire of Baton Rouge restaurants. We can’t get back soon enough.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                          We have enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinners at BRQ for a number of years and this years was probably one of the best ever. The food was and always is above expectation and this year the pecan pie was probably the best I've ever had anywhere. The regular menu throughout the rest of the year is well beyond what many offer and serve, and that's why this continues to be a popular place to eat long after the newness has worn off.
