The restaurant, recently recognized as having the best food and service in the state, offers an a la carte menu that changes seasonally. Our Irish pub fare reigns in the front bar.

    Ordered the 300gm scotch fillet, when it arrived it was flat as a pancake, would have been only 5mm thick with about 10 chips on the plate, you had to pay extra for salad! For $43 it was a rip off and very poor presentation. Have never had a bad meal here but won't be returning. Staff were fantastic, very friendly but food let the place down. I've never seen a scotch fillet so flat!

    Meals took a lot of time to arrive. One person got a totally wrong meal but decided it would take too long to fix. My particular meal was very basic compared to a few weeks ago as we frequent BA at least 1 per month.

    We usually love the food and service at The Brougham Arms Hotel but our recent experience was really ordinary and we won’t be rushing back. The waiter was hopeless and our meals were nowhere near the standard that they usually are.

    The Broughie has changed and the arrow points more toward pub than restaurant. We used to go to the place for the food and it was enhanced by the ambience and environment; now it’s great food, good service but more bistro than gastro-pub/restaurant. The music takes over the dining so not sure if you come for the food or the live music. Still enjoyed it but not sure it’s what I want; strangely the bar was quieter and maybe it’s a better choice for a good food, drink and a quiet end of week chat

    Lovely atmosphere, food was quite nice. My husband loved his steak. Octopus was tasty, just a bit overcooked however the delicious fresh salad made up for it. Service was exceptional. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

    The choices on the menu were excellent. The specials were also pleasing to view and added an extensive list to the customer. The kangaroo was incredible. And the flavour of the satay chicken special was good. We enjoy our return visits.
