   Awful experience! We waited 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive then our entrees were delivered to our table before the soup and salads we ordered. We asked them to take them back to the kitchen so we could start eating our salads first. When they brought the entrees out for us again they were ice cold. We had a table of 6 and my husband’s dish didn’t come out until everyone else had finished. We asked to speak to a manager who was apologetic but only comped a portion of the meal. She offered to remake dishes but we had an obligation to make so we didn’t have the time. The entire experience was poorly managed and we left extremely disappointed and hungry. We will most definitely not be returning

   Went for 1st time for our 47th Anniversary. Service was under staff. Sous chef sat us in the middle section close to the kitchen. Asked for booth against side wall, was denied, yet 15 minutes later they sat another group there. Kitchen noise was loud. Did not care for the lobster bisque. Shrimp and scallop risotto was very good.

   Can't recommend a single item we ordered from a table of four. If you have to go there just stick with a salad. $170 (no alcohol or deserts) completely wasted. But shame on me because really what did I expect...

   Food was good. Portion sizes could be bigger for the price. Our booth was broken and very uncomfortable! Service was good.

   Food was good as always but they were so understaffed that the servers didn’t have time to give adequate attention to any tables. We waited nearly an hour after ordering drinks to get watered down cocktails only after we reminded the server that we had not received them. Overall the worst service I have experienced at Brio.

   Took 9 family members on 12/26 to location in the Plaza in KCMO. Very short staffed. Only about half full, but service very slow. Seemed as if one server was trying to service all the tables and even had to make bar drinks herself. Food ok, but not special. Drinks took forever to come out as did dessert. Not impressed!!!!

   This place is a hot mess. The hostesses were outrageously rude. I used to be a hostess & server, so I tend to give tons of leeway here, but wow— they were just mean. The front was packed with parties waiting for tables, including those who’d made reservations (we had to wait only an additional 20 min., but one woman said she’d waited 2 hours after her reservation time!!), but there were visibly several tables that were open that just hadn’t been cleaned while I saw service staff walk past empty handed, perfectly capable of cleaning them off as they by. When we did get our table, things became sort of laughably bad. Our server was visibly drunk. He was sweaty & slurring his words. We ordered a couple of absurdly priced wheat beers, and when he brought them he apologized because the orange slide from one had fallen onto his hand. He had it still balancing there on the web of his sweaty hand. Like, why that choice? Why not just take a few steps to grab a new orange slice from the bar? Or even take BOTH orange slices out & serve the beers without? Anyhow, the whole dinner was just bizarre and bad. They served us bread with no bread plates. The bread smelled like play-doh. The poor manager was running around trying to help & she slapped down silverware for us, half upside down, along with a random stack of paper napkins. The whole time we were there, there were empty tables with dirty dishes as well as trash all over the floor under them. There was no music, but there was this incessant beeping from the unanswered phone (or maybe a fire alarm that needed new batteries)? Genuinely tragic. I’m shocked they’re still in business.

   Our reservation was not honored. Our table was ready one hour after we reserved. Food was okay. Out of the wine we wanted.

    We had a 4:30 reservation on 12/25 and I checked in as soon as we got there. The person at the desk said she would note we had arrived. After waiting 25 minutes and watching multiple parties being seated that came in well after us, I went to the desk to inquire about our position. She finally admitted she did not get us checked in. It was very frustrating
