Portions were too small. Steak was more medium well than the requested medium medium rare. The glass of wine was a very small pour and way too expensive. We considered stopping at Portillo on our way home.!

Worst service ever. Waited one and half hour for second course. Services never ever check on us. They still charge you 20% service fee mandatory. Food only ok. Not worth it at all.

While we have been to other Chef Carrie and Michael restaurants, we had yet to get to Brindille and held it out for a special occasion. Enter CRW and we had to bite and bite we did. What an amazing selection, as there were multiple for every course and they were excellent. Between the three of us, we had the Pork Chop, Sirloin Steak and the NZ Salmon. Also the egg and the mushroom soups were amazing for starters. Desserts were excellent and traditional French. They recommended a moderately priced Pinot Noir that definitely drank above its price point. Service was attentive and professional and the chef/owners made regular visits around a very full room for a 6F Monday night. We will most definitely go back and recommend others do too. We need to support fine dining in Chicago!

Went to Brindille for Restaurant Week! It was fantastic! The restaurant itself is beautiful. It is the perfect place for a romantic dinner!

The food, presentation, ambiance and service were great! It was almost a perfect experience. We decided to get a bottle of wine that was included in the menu for Restaurant Week for $75. When we looked at the price and rating we were a little disappointed, it was a $14 bottle with 3.4 stars in Vivino. They had several options to add as extra charge in the ‘set’ dinner menu for Restaurant Week. This also was a little disappointing, we felt they were nickel and diming us. If a restaurant wants to participate in Restaurant Week then do so.

Great visit! Evan is a great server who keeps drinks full, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. Wish the music was louder as I’d rather be listening to it than the table next to mine’s conversation, especially for a late-night weekend meal. Great value during restaurant week, but will definitely be back throughout the year.

My wife and I went for restaurant week and we were excited to try this new restaurant out. However we quickly realized that they severely cut down the portion sizes for restaurant and both of us left the restaurant not even full. The salmon entree I ordered was only 4 oz. Not really enough for a dinner entree at $59. Both desserts were excellent though. Also didn’t like the fact there was a 4% surcharge and an automatic 20% tip applied to the bill. Doubt we are going back as there are better options in Chicago.

This was BY FAR the best restaurant experience we’ve had in a long time! The atmosphere was exceptional, the service was beyond compare. We had a couple of special requests (we were there during restaurant week and wanted to try some things off of the main menu) which they accommodated happily and went above and beyond. Evan, our server was fabulous. Fabulous. Friendly, attentive, kind, thoughtful and exceptional! Michael, the owner, suggested an incredible wine and the chef was beyond compare! We can’t wait to return to Chicago just to enjoy this restaurant again!!!

Lovely, simply prepared French food with a bit of Moroccan influence. The flavors are clear and delicious. Nothing is muddled. The warm grey room is simply furnished, and the lighting is easy on the eyes. The noise level is reasonable, although it would have been a little nicer perhaps to have French music, rather than American pop as background. Cocktails were interesting (Scotch and Chartreuse!) and there was a lovely 2016 Cabernet Franc by the glass. As it got crowded, service became a bit slower, but no matter, Brindille is a culinary jewel in the heart of Chicago.

A wonderful French restaurant with a calm, sophisticated ambiance. The food was fantastic - reminded us of some of the nicest restaurants my husband and I dined at when we lived in southeastern France.
