Bridges has a stunning location, overlooking the fishing boats in False Creek and the mountains of the North Shore. The second-floor dining room features a vaulted ceiling highlighting the original beams and trusses of this 1920&30s building, with floor to ceiling windows capturing every part of the view. The downstairs bistro and pub offer a casually elegant atmosphere, while the chef presents a menu featuring fresh seafood, rich meats and local produce. During the summer, our dock patio offers one of the best views of False Creek and the Burrard Bridge in Vancouver. Reservations are for the downstairs restaurant only.

It wasn’t a great experience and terrible value for what we got. It was the very last night that it was open before undergoing major renovations and rebranding - but they sure didn’t reduce the prices. It’s closed now until April 2022 when it will reopen as a Tap and Barrel. They were out of a lot of menu items when we showed up at 8pm. It was the worst of the two of our anniversary dinners. But they’re closed now so this review is pointless.

We left. It was their last day before permanently closing. Very little food left and nothing like the menu online. Oddly they called to mention that some items wouldn't be available but failed to mention that the dinner menu wasn't on offer. Plus didn't say that they would be closing today.

My wife and I had an early dinner at Bridges. Surprisingly they had very few gluten free options for my wife, so she ordered the salmon. The only vegetable side it came with was Brussels sprouts, which is a pretty polarizing dish - you love it or hate it. Sadly my wife hates it, and the server, who didn’t seem to want to be there, told her there were no other options, so I ate them for her. When we were almost done they brought out some broccolini! Sadly we were already full, and I wish they would have told us they were doing that. My fish & chips were really bland. Finally the bill came and it was the wrong bill, the exact same thing that happened to the table next to us. The food was just ok and the service was pretty bad. I expected a lot more from Bridges. Wouldn’t bother going there again.

Location spectacular, food totally disappointing. I had salad and a pizza for $50 and I’m pretty sure I could have had a better experience from making my own frozen pizza and pre made salad from save on foods. Service was great though. Hopefully they will reno the food like they are doing to the building.

It’s been a long time since I recieved such poor service. Long wait for the drinks and our food was served before we got any cutlery, by the time we got it the food was cold. Menu looked nice but many items werent avialable during dinner service. There were also mice running across the patio.

Unfortunately we did not know the restaurant was scheduled to close for major renovation in 3 days. We came for the seafood and what we originally wanted was not available due to shortage of food/menu items. Our appies took a very long time to get delivered and my husband steak was raw when he ordered medium rare. There was hardly any cheese on the nachos, best item was the dessert they brought to my daughter for her birthday and my cocktail wasn't bad. Had we known the restaurant was scheduled to close I would have booked elsewhere. Our waiter was very friendly and tried to accommodate us as best as he could.

Young couple on date night on a Saturday night. Very good time as far as ordering food and first drinks but after that, the service seemed to disappear. We weren’t checked on once to see if we wanted another drink or to see if our food was ok. I completely understand it was busy, but we honestly felt like we were ignored. The waitress barely spoke to us and we felt they couldn’t wait for us to just pay our bill and leave. The food was amazing, but the service took away from the night slightly.

Service was horrible, food was not seasoned, waitress was rude and not interested in her customers, or maybe it was just us. We thought it would be nice to have a final meal before Bridges closes down for good, but the quality of food and the service has already left. It’s too bad, as we’ve had a lot of fun and good experiences here in the past, it’s a shame to go out this way.
