The service at Bridges today was awful. Our server took our order and didn’t bring food for at least 45 minutes. The restaurant was not crowded so don’t know what took so long. Waiter barely talked and seemed uncomfortable with even interacting with us. My food, grilled shrimp and noodles, was so soggy, and cold, that I didn’t eat it. Would not recommend going here anytime soon.

We had the breakfast plate, the eggs were dry and the potatoes greasy! Our wait person wasn't friendly and didn't deserve the nice tip she received. Not sure I will return even though I love Danville.

It’s a sad day when I have to give a very low score to a formerly outstanding restaurant in every category. Our previously special outing restaurant, Bridges, in Danville has changed owners and has a new chef. The result is that we will not return. The food: Caesar salad floated in dressing. Chef forgot to make the “croutons” crispy instead of blah squares of bread!! The sir fried shrimp lacked enough curry cause and the noodle cakes were tasteless. The rolls brought to the table were filled with air - NO substitution for the previously served dense cranberry walnut bread. Atmosphere: Bridges used to be for a special night out. A time to dress up and be served an elegant dinner in a romantic atmosphere. Tonight was so disappointing. The prices are high and most people arrive in jeans and sneakers. The romance is gone along with the delicious food and professional servers. Goodbye, Bridges. It’s terribly sad to watch you go downhill.

I have been to this restaurant numerous times - all before change in ownership. Don’t know if that plays into our experience today but I will not ever go back. The food was beyond bad. Edamame was old and cold. The sesame shrimp salad had gallons of dressing that congealed the noodles. The pizzeta was undercooked. It’s really a shame because this has always been a favorite choice. They need to do something or this place will never last.

We strayed from our usual thanksgiving location in san Francisco and went to bridges to avoid the drive. We both quickly realized the drive is worth it. The food at Bridges was mediocre, they were overly chaotic, and service was poor. People seated after us got things way before us, then they were forgotten about and we eclipsed them. Servers couldn't tell who ordered what and we were seated in a bad location that was a worse experience than a downtown diner. Food was not bad but nothing to write home about at all. We had a regretful thxgiving dinner-wise but now we know to stick with other options that are more highly rated. If you don't want to cook and want to stay in town - I'd check out other options first but if you had to book Bridges - it will be "ok".
