   I was disappointed. We waited 45 min after having reservations and prepaying for our food. The hostess walked right passed us and didn’t acknowledge us until after speaking to everyone else just to realize our table was up. Not a good experience at all. first course was cold!

   Brewery Bhavana hosted an almost $100 per person Valentine’s Day event (drinks not included) pre sold event -reservation only this year. They let us know that they were running behind upon check in, although just how long they could not and refused to say. Clearly dozens of other groups were told the same thing as there was hardly standing room let alone sitting room. No offer of drinks while we waited or anything other than a sorry for the inconvenience. At least it’s easy to leave and get another table at a “nicer” restaurant on Valentine’s Day. Oddly, there was not a restaurant manager, owner, or obvious person in charge handling any of the disgruntled patrons. The waitstaff and bartenders appeared flustered to say the least. About an hour wait past our “reservation” time, we were finally sat directly in front of the loud kitchen. At least they also sat a group of obnoxious and heavily intoxicated individuals with the last remaining people in the restaurant to seal the ambiance for this “fine dining,” experience. I’ve grown to not expect much from so called higher end Raleigh restaurants, but this was actually surprising how understaffed, poorly run, oversold, or some combination of those described this event. This will be our last time here.

   Food was fine, but we had a 52 minute wait from our reservation time after being told 15 minutes which is very disappointing considering we had to prepay so we couldn't just go elsewhere. It did put a damper on things. Our server Hunter was great.

   We had a wonderful time at dinner the night before Valentines Day. Our waiter took care of us and the food was impeccable as always. We enjoy the understated atmosphere and it all together made for a great meal.

   We love asking servers for their recommendations which are always great! Love the atmosphere! Especially the wallpaper in bathroom and at entrance. Heard that was created by local company Spoonflower!
