   It wasn’t the experience I remembered. While the food was good, our server took nearly 15 minutes to greet us and take our drink and food orders. Once the meals started arriving, two of our guests didn’t receive their main courses because the server forgot to enter them. To make matters worse, one of those guests also didn’t get their appetizer, and after reminding the server, we were told they had run out of that item. Overall, if you're visiting—especially with a group of eight or more—I’d recommend proceeding with caution.

   Great spot. Our daughter's hockey team came in on Sunday for lunch. We all had individual reservations, but the staff able to accommodate us as a larger group. Service was great. Super helpful and fast service. Food came out quick and was excellent. A really great experience.

   Great beef and mushroom pie. Fish and chips also great. Good selection of beers on tap.

   The place is comfortable, we went fairly early, so the sound level was also okay. I can only speak to my food. The clam chowder is actually seafood chowder, not my favourite but okay. The mussels weren't hot enough, broth was thin and skimpy, lots of shredded scallions but not a lot of flavour, also starting to dry out by the time they came to the table. If I go back I would not order either. Service was good and friendly. I did not advise the server that my food was meh. The rest of the party were happy enough.

   Waiting 30 minutes to order beverages, then waited over an hour for our food. Didn’t get 1 check in the entire time. Has 1 glass of water. Tough day for service

   Nothing really wrong, but nothing really special. My Reuben sandwich was tasty, but soggy (toasted rather than grilled, and the sauerkraut against the bread rather than in between the cheese and the meat). The cauliflower bites were like Mandarin chicken balls with bits of veg at the centre of a lot of breading, and the dipping sauce tasted like straight Frank's Red Hot. Service wasn't bad, but after a beer, it took me 10min and another reminder to get a glass of water from our waitress - I was driving, and told her that, and the rest of my party was drinking, so it's not like we were being cheap. The restaurant is basically a couple of open rooms with tables - not the character you'd normally associate with an "Irish pub." Clean, decently appointed, nothing awful about the experience. But we probably won't be back.
