A fairly average evening. A group of girls creating content in the toilets throughout the evening was frankly bizarre and restricted access to the toilets. Made even more bizarre by the staff ignoring their presence.

Great service, the staff were very polite and accommodating even when I asked to move tables. The food as always is very well presented and tastes delicious. My Norwegian guests loved it and were impressed with the service and attention to detail of the whole menu and atmosphere. Thank you.

Beautiful restaurant but tables are crammed together so can be noisy and can't help but eavesdrop on your neighbours. Food is top notch but service can be slow during busy periods. Wine is very expensive but that applies to pretty much all restaurants.

Service was very delayed. We had to wait for 15-20 mins before the server came up and took our order for drinks.

We usually love coming here and the vibe certainly hasn’t changed (ie it’s great). However, the service was less than adequate, which is unusual. 2 of our party ordered the teriyaki salmon for main, were asked how they’d like it cooked (unusual request) and when they both replied medium, they were advised they could only have it well done or rare! Another person specifically asked for his lamb to be pinky and was told this was okay. It arrived well done and after trying a bite, he asked the waitress to return it and bring what he had ordered. It was brought to him around 15 minutes later but nobody offered to reheat or bring new portions of chips and spinach, which was really poor, as he ended up eating them all stone cold with his warm lamb. We had to wait for over 10 minutes for our wine, and the service was less attentive than usual. The bill was astronomical.

The food was very nice but sadly the service ruined the experience. The restaurant wasn’t full but the drinks took an age to come and we chased them up twice (prob 20 mins) . Even water for the table took ages and then they brought the wrong one! 3 meals were served then a good 5 minutes later mine arrived minus the chips. I waited for 5 mins aa assumed they would be on the way … but no. So, I asked for my fries, having half eaten my food and they brought normal not sweet potato, which I had ordered. So there was a further wait …. At no point did anybody apologise and we were charged full price for the meal- would not go back.
