   Good enough restaurant. Decor is old fashion. Food is good, nothing extraordinaire. We went on a Sunday and it was really quiet. No vibes. My view is that it is expensive for what it is.

   Had a great evening at Brasserie Blanc. We were there on a Tuesday and the steak & wine offer for 2 was a great deal. Service was very attentive too.

   We were really forward to trying Brasserie Blanc on way home to London and the food at all and such a lovely restaurant. Maybe it was a Monday and though there were a fair few people it didn't look too too busy in a big space. However, the service was not as expected. It was slow, we had to ask for table to be cleared and had to ask twice for dessert order to be taken. And we had to bring the bill to the front to pay on the way out as we sat for a long time without any continued attention.

   Restaurant not busy, service very slow, waited 25mims to place our order. Sauce for mussels was very watery. Overall meal for all bland. Sorry Maybe just an off day.

   Always consistently good. The place was very busy and the food and service were both excellent even though the food took a bit longer than usual. An excellent go-to eating place

   Had the crawfish and prawn cocktail and the courgette pie to start. For mains - chalkstream trout, king prawn, dressed crab and corn fritters. Fish was fresh and lovely, black rice in the king prawn main was over salted. Dressed crab was smaller than expected but well prepared. Will give the sweetcorn and pepper fritters a miss next time. Lovely ambience and will be going back again.

   It’s potentially a lovely environment but actually felt as if I’d entered a retirement home - maybe a Thursday lunch isn’t the best time for diversity. Was looking for a slightly better vibe. The service was very good and the team were both professional and friendly. The food was ok - I ate the grilled king prawn but its bed of rice was very salty not inedible though. My previous visits have been better not sure I’d rush to go back

    Perhaps it was the dishes we ordered but the Crab was served in a shell just like it was straight from the supermarket, put on a plate with very few salad leaves and fries. Very poor presentation in my opinion from normally a top class restaurant. One steak was ok but over priced. One hamburger ok and one soup. The restaurant was not full but that is probably due to the fact they have stopped doing the ‘fixed price lunch menu’ which was far better value if you were on a budget. Party of 4. One of our guests had a starter only, 3 had main course only, all with no wine and the bill was £110! Nothing special for a mid week lunch out with family.
