   Always great to catch Steak Night at The Brandon. Good quality steak, cooked as ordered, and the chips are something else!

   Dining at the Brandon is always a pleasant experience. Knowledgeable staff helped us make good wine choices. Some of our group chose meals from the starter menu and were happy to have the portion sizes explained. We could converse comfortably because background noise was controlled by the venue. All elements came together to make our Christmas get together really enjoyable.

   This a great little hotel in back blocks of Carlton. Management is friendly and good selection of beers and wines. Everyone in the party enjoyed their meal

   Outside is lovely. Service is brilliant. Food used to be good fare at a reasonable price but now more experimental and more expensive. Cozzie livs?

   Sunday Roast was the best - we had roast brisket which was absolutely delicious. The only thing missing was Yorkshire Pudding. Will definitely be going back .

    Food was good but waiter did not place our order and so meals did not arrive. After a one and half hour wait, the waiter told us they had not placed it and apologised. They did not put us at the head of the queue and it was another 20 + minute wait. To compensate all we were offered was larger drinks (drinks already part of the meal deal). Mistakes do happen but when they do happen, a better response is expected.
