   Restaurant was packed for Christmas dinner, but the service was at the normal excellent level and the food was wonderful. A great memory.

   Very attentive service and didn’t feel rushed to leave Lamb speciality was a little overcooked

   We’ve come to New York for Christmas to celebrate our honeymoon. Regardless of the fact it was Christmas Day they made us feel really welcomed to be there celebrating our honeymoon too. Food was also lovely and a great atmosphere.

   El ambiente para la cena navideña y la comida buenos, el lugar muy lindo. El servicio de Diego fue excelente. Nuestro único problema fue que reservamos en este sitio meses atrás para noche buena y nuestra mesa estaba al lado de la cocina donde el vapor de la cocina era muy fuerte y al momento de mencionarle al manager y a la recepcionista fueron muy groseros ambo, al decir que esa mesa donde estábamos ubicados era la favorita de los clientes. No tuvieron ninguna intención de reubicarnos ni de ayudarnos a esta situación… es decir, reservar no sirve de nada.

   We made reservations a week early for a special occasion party of 4, came in 15 min early, and ready to spend a good amount of money. We weren’t dressed poorly, maybe a little disheveled from walking around the city in the cold weather and heavy jackets like everyone else. The hostess was a bit rude and walked away before we could follow her. We were then placed at the worst table next to the server stand and the kitchen when there were many others open. No one offered to take our coats to the rack either, so my coat $600 coat dragged on the floor and got stepped on by the food runners several times. We then waited several long minutes to be greeted (it was 5pm, not rush hour). They immediately asked what we wanted to eat, didn’t talk to us about the menu or drinks to try to sell us anything, when we wanted to pay for it. It took 30 minutes for us to receive bread and the waiter finally came back and took our food order. Only good thing about this place was the quickness the food came out (and the ambiance would have been nice if we were seated anywhere else). The food was so overpriced for how bland and small the portions were. Bolognese was maybe 4 noodles. They also overcharged one of the dishes by double when we asked to make an allergy adjustment. And waited 15 minutes to take our card when all we wanted to do was leave. Then to top off the bad experience, the bathroom had no toilet paper which highly sucked for a girl on her period. 0/10 don’t recommend. Did not meet expectations by far.

    Service was exceptional! Our waiter Diego was very patient and helpful while we chose our wine, and even moved us farther away from the door so it wouldn’t be as cold with people walking in and out. It may have been because it was a very busy night and it was close to the holiday, but for what you pay I do think the food could have been a bit better. Our side was not very warm upon arrival and my steak was overcooked. If it wasn’t for the great service we got from Diego, I don’t know if I would go back for another try, but given how great he was I will definitely give it another shot at a less busy time.
