   Brand new restaurant at Pike & Rose. The ambiance and background music felt like a Speakeasy and we really enjoyed that. The service was outstanding. The lobster wedge salad was both unique and delicious, as was their spicy margaritas. However, there is room for improvement, the NY strip steak was average, at best. No mushrooms available with steak is a deal killer. Lastly, one of the worst expresso martinis I can recall, as clearly they are attempting something unique but unnecessary. I joked with my wife on the way out that if we came back I'd double up on the margaritas and the lobsta wedge salad and drop the entre. Go somewhere else for expresso martinis. This place has promise, just needs some fixes to stand out.

   Very welciming atmosphere woth attentive and personable wait staff and management. The background music added to the ambiance and was very enjoyable. Chose tge bread fir our apoetizer and it was warm and soft and melted in your mouth with the butter. We chose the filet mignon and the lasagna with a side of roasted cauliflower. The lasagna was presented as roll-ups sitting on a hearty robust red sauce with plenty of gooey cheese. The head of cauliflower was topped with spices and oils and was cooked perfectly. I can not say enough about the delectable filet mignon; I paired it with some house horseradish and I was in heaven. We pushed ourselves to try the chocolate cake and that didn't disappoint; it was light and tasty with a thick sauce and ganache. A wonderful evening at a lovely new addition to Pike and Rose...

   The food was spectacular! The restaurant decor and vibe was beautiful. My server Jonathan was very accurate describing the menu and his service was outstanding. I will definitely be back.

   Bouboulina was INCREDIBLE. Truly outstanding. The food was phenomenal. The service was impeccable. I was blown away by the service honestly. It felt like such an elevated experience. They made a cocktail for me off menu that was superb. I would go back in a SECOND. Probably my favorite dining experience I’ve had in Montgomery county. Just wow.

   The service was A-1…The bartender personally came out and checked in (I’m a cocktail with egg white snob), the Caesar salad was luscious and snowed in Parmesan…the branzino was crispy on the out but just buttery on the inside! The double baked potato paired amazing with everything…especially if you love your weight in carbs, like I do! Hubs had the Waygu steak and it was aged in rosemary wine…come on flavor, I see you! He devoured the cauliflower situation…twas a no for me, I have my full stops😆. We were too stuffed for desserts, but was impressed and will be back again and again 🤪 😋 I have certainly worn my welcome @juliieats and @melinagreek, but I guess they just want me to remain on the roll call because this, TOO, passed the vibe check 🙃😍 And just like that…a FaceTime from a mini, returning to the home base…*cues* baaaaack to liiiife, baaack to reality 🎶 😂

   From start to finish, our dinner at was exceptional & mouth watering. To start, the bread & tuna crudo & lobster salad were a flavorful refreshing delight, setting the stage for a perfectly cooked main course— 32 oz tomahawk steak, crispy branzino, & roasted cauliflower & baked potato rich, tender, and beautifully presented. Dessert was the perfect finale, a sweet indulgence we won’t forget with the berry cheesecake. Beyond the incredible food, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and seamless. Johnathan took great care of us! Every detail was thoughtfully executed, making for a truly memorable evening. If you’re looking for outstanding dinner experience and top-notch hospitality, Bouboulina is a must-visit & great addition to Pike & Rose! Can’t wait to come back for lunch and happy hour soon when it’s available. Grab a reservation ASAP, you won’t be disappointed!

   My wife and frequently eat at Melina and sometimes at Julii so we were excited to try Bouboulina. Sadly, we were much disappointed and sad that we can't offer an excellent review. The atmosphere is comfortable although loud, and the service was fine although the waiter charged us $36 for two crab rolls even though we inquired about the price before ordering them and were told that the price would be $18. He did not adjust the pricing; simply apologized for his mistake. The cocktails were a disappointment; we can't recall ever commenting about drinks. The biggest disappointment was a New York strip steak that was very tough and without much flavor. The side of asparagus was very good but the root celery puree was a bust. The restaurant kindly credited us the cost of the steak and cocktails. We hope that the restaurant will improve given time since it has only been open for two weeks. Until then, we will continue to enjoy Melina.

   The bread and burger are a must try!!! I hope they change up the menu sometime or it will be limited. We got $144 bottle of wine with dirty glasses.

    We had high expectations going in, having loved Julii and Melina - and this new spot absolutely met them. The food, atmosphere, and service were all a delight. A wonderful addition to the group, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!
