    We joined for a weekend brunch to celebrate our friend’s 30th birthday. Our overall experience would have been just outstanding if it wasn’t overshadowed by the lack of hospitality upon entry. During the check-in, we were offered a glass of sparkling wine that was a part of brunch offering. However, there were two people in our group who are not able to consume alcohol due to health reasons. Since we all wanted to cheers, we asked for a glass of sparkling water with orange juice or even just plain water in the same glass so that we don’t feel left out. Unfortunately, it was a no, and the staff was not willing to compromise which contradicts the concept of hospitality. This minor accommodation would have had a huge impact on our experience. In addition, with the spirit-free alternatives gaining their popularity greatly, it would have been a nice touch to have a non-alcoholic option upon entry.

    We were a group of six joining for a celebration, and the experience was exceptional. Our server Rhea was polite, accommodating and quick to respond to any request we had. The brunch is truly one of the best in the city with service that we don’t often find anymore. Compliments to the chef, all six guests were very impressed with their dishes. We had a couple of guests with dietary restrictions that were handled seamlessly. Highly recommend. .Will return.

    Botanist is always a delicious experience. Creative flavours and textures, and beautifully plated meals. The burrata beet salad and sea bass were standouts. Service is always fantastic.

    We had a wonderful time. Our server was the same from our last visit. I can't remember his name, but he was amazing. The bartenders go above and beyond. They whipped my husband up a delicious drink. Thank you for a wonderful night.

    Good food and good service. The place is loud and I did not expect to spend $250pp in such a loud environment. We are accustomed to Michelin restaurants being quiet so we can enjoy the service and the food. It was hard to hear anything and having conversations. The wine is expensive.

    We came to Botanist for dinner the night before the Eras tour and it did not disappoint, it was the second most thing I was excited about experiencing in Vancouver! The ambiance and mood was top tier. We absolutely loved the scallops and the beet/burrata starters! And the bread service was delicious. The beef tenderloin and pasta were very good but it just was unfortunate that the starters were so incredibly delicious! Our mocktails that we ordered were also devine (I had the pear mocktails). Our server was considerate and personable. It was a fantastic night!
