    The weekend brunch at Botanist is outstanding! It was not my first time, however it was a first for my friend. There is a lot of freedom in the two or three course options and although I skipped the infamous mushroom toast this time, it is a stand out for those that like mushrooms. My friend was so impressed with the portion and offerings with the burrata salad. She thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We both opted for the lobster Benedict, however I will note that on previous visits, the croque madame and lamb belly poutine were also delicious. I opted in for a sweet finish for my second course and tried the croissant bread pudding. This is absolutely the most perfect brunch dessert, and the squash ice cream is absolute heaven. I must add the value with two beverages included is so fantastic. Finally our wonderful server Jess took such great care of us and was a delight. I am so enamoured with brunch, but I am making a point to return for dinner at some point.

    This was our fourth time at Botanist but the first time for brunch. We keep trying to give this place another chance but it’s always just mediocre. It’s so expensive for what it is. The ambience is cold and you could get the same quality food if not better at other local places like Jam cafe. Unless you want a fancy cocktail I don’t see why you’d come here for brunch.

    Went for brunch with a few friends and had an amazing time! Staff was kind and accommodating, food was fantastic, but we did find service to be a little slow. We had planned to be there for 2 hours hoping to do all three courses for brunch but ran out of time and couldn't have dessert as we had another event to go to. If you plan to do 3 courses plan for 3 hours. Drinks were phenomenal, very unique and they had great non-alcoholic options. Ambience was clean, refined and beautiful.
