The American steakhouse is an iconic restaurant institution. We’d wanted to tell that story for years, but waited until we had the skill, talent and ability to execute it properly, and the right space to be our canvas, an important corner in Little Italy, a neighborhood where we have deep roots. We brought an almost academic appreciation for steakhouse history and tradition to Born & Raised, while trying to stay relevant and authentic to ourselves and our city. Our dry-aged beef pays tribute to earlier, earthier, pre-government grading practices and is the centerpiece of a meal best savored at a slow pace. First time going there and definitely not the last! Went here for my fiancé’s birthday and the staff made us feel so welcome and even gave him a birthday card. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was very comfortable.

Atmosphere was pretty. But it lacked a personal feel. We sat downstairs and it was freezing. It took nearly an hour for our tables idea Ceasar salad to arrive. The woman making it could have cared less about it. When our entrees showed up nothing was very hot which makes sense because it was freezing in the whole downstairs of the restaurant. 4 people shared 2 entrees, 2 apps, 2 sides plus a lot of overpiced wine bill 700 plus dollars. On a positive note, the waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and wine and offered to bring a fresh hot side. But truly the whole meal was not up to par. If you are going for the food and experience there have to be better places to dine. This has become super touristy and felt like Vegas prices.
