Let me say first of all, our server was first rate, she would do well to move on to a better restaurant! The meals considering the price were pedestrian at best. My lamb was over cooked and dry, however the vegetable sides were nice. My husband had the ceviche to start and it was bland. His main was the pork belly which was beautifully cooked but the sides were wanting. Most surprising, was how poor the desserts were. My dessert boasted a buttercream icing that was so obviously made in part with vegetable shortening, it was like eating a poor quality grocery store cake. My friend had the carrot cake which had a mushy texture and a chewy icing like it had been sitting out for days. Our friends said their meals were passable but one could certainly do better elsewhere in town. Such a disappointment!

We had a fabulous gal's lunch on Friday at Boom and Batten. We were seated at table #34 on the upper level. Our server was amazing! Our water glasses were filled before the glasses were empty, and the same applied for our coffee cups. Although the food was a little pricey every bite was delicious! The restaurant was quite busy but we were able to hear each other talk . I will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed our birthday celebration dinner for three. Food quality is very good. However, we are discouraged by the ever increasing pricing on moderate sized orders. This will discourage us from returning more than once or twice a year.

We were seated for dinner in the Sunset Café area, which turned out to be quieter than the main dining room. The server was very friendly and attentive. It's a beautiful location, and the food was wonderful.

Service was outstanding. Monica R was an excellent server. We requested a view table for our anniversary dinner. We received a view table however our view was totally blocked a large yacht moored right in front of the restaurant

Unfortunately, the superyacht After Eight was docked alongside the restaurant blocking the normally great view! I suggest when making your reservation to phone to see whether there is an unobstructed view.

We are very lucky to have our beautiful location in the International Marina along the inner harbour, however, this does mean we occasionally have yachts in our window. Great food, beautiful restaurant. Only issue was a massive yacht parked right outside blocking the view of the harbour. The yacht blocked the view for most of the restaurant. Part of the reason to go to B&B it's the view. Kind of disappointing
