Bouef & Coq – A Perfectly Balanced Dining Experience My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at Bouef & Coq today, and from start to finish, it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere that made for the perfect date night setting. We started with two expertly crafted cocktails, which set the tone for the evening. The mixology here is on point—balanced flavors, refreshing, and made with quality ingredients. For starters, we opted for the calamari, which was lightly crispy on the outside while remaining tender inside, paired with a flavorful dipping sauce that complemented it beautifully. For the main course, we shared the selection of steak cuts, and it was nothing short of perfection. Each cut was cooked exactly to our preference, showcasing the quality of the meat and the skill of the kitchen. The variety allowed us to appreciate different textures and flavors, making every bite a delight. The bottle of wine we chose paired seamlessly with the meal, enhancing the richness of the steak without overpowering it. Service was attentive yet unobtrusive, with staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. The pacing of the meal was just right, allowing us to fully enjoy each course without feeling rushed. Overall, Bouef & Coq delivered a fantastic dining experience that struck the perfect balance between quality food, great service, and an inviting atmosphere. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just in the mood for a top-tier steak, this place is well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Manager in a terrible mood. Asked me to close the door on the way in. Didn't even greet us. Anyway, we got to our table. Ordered. Food took some time which is fine. It arrived, we ate it. We got desert menus but we're told that there was only 20 mins left on the table. In other words, hurry up. This happened to the couple beside us too. For the food. I got around 6 chips smothered in paprika. Pathetic id say. My wife got a coke zero. Came down in the can, €4.50 for this was absolutely shocked. Can buy the same 18 pack for €10 in any store. Which brings me to my point that this is all about getting as much money out of the customer as possible. That's clearly the business model here. 10% mandatory tip too for the staff. €12 tip for getting told you need to finish up in 20 minutes. Scandalous. WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE BACK. STAY CLEAR. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I'm sure the owners don't care. Think wisely before booking here

Unfortunately asked for a steak medium.and it came out very well done. A long wait time for main course also. Waited 45 minutes and an extra 20 minutes as steak needed to be re done. Staff were nice

Starters were really good. But thats where it ended. Prosecco was flat. Steak was really tough and very undercooked. Prawns for the main looked like a starter dish. Very disappointed. Pepper sauce was a gravy. FXB is more expensive but so worth the extra. Wont be back here.

We arrived a bit early but were seated quickly. The noise level was loud in the restaurant but it died down was the evening progressed. Our food and drink order was taken promptly. There was a long enough wait for our mains and the accompanying side. The food was delicious and the staff were excellent.
