A restaurant smuggled from Mexico to Melbourne. Find Little Bourke Street’s late night mezcal bar and taqueria hidden underground in the China Town precinct, and open 7 days a week until late, including lunch Thursday - Sunday. Try a Tequila or Mezcal cocktail, or speak to our team about sipping some exciting Agave spirits instead. The $59 Feed Me banquet offers great value and a huge mix of traditional Mexican street food, plus some dishes with a twist. We also offer a $75 Bottomless Brunch on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays, with unlimited cocktails and 5 dishes; or a Pre-Theatre deal available every night of the week. We are located on the corner of Little Bourke and Crossley Street, Melbourne, with a moody bar and dining area perfect for both a quiet drink, or a larger celebration.

WARNING: Arriving late will result in a shorter seating time CANCELLATION POLICY: Bottomless Mexi-Brunch is non-refundable, however modifications to your booking may be made up until 48 hours prior to your booking time.

The value for the bottomless brunch was fantastic. It makes it very simple that you don’t have to even think about ordering. Service was prompt and attentive without being overbearing. Thanks for a great birthday celebration!

Very nice dinner, seven course set menu! Feel like it was a bit too much to get through, but delicious! Our favourite by far was the birria tacos and the corn. My partner and I’s favourite date night spot, we will be back!

All off the 8 of us that dinned loved the whole experience, the food was amazing, we had a work colleague from America dinning with us and he loves his Mexican food and he said this was up there with some of the best he has enjoyed.

My dining companion was a vegan and she loved the menu. I actually tried vegan myself and it enjoyed it too. Service was amazing and they were super attentive to our needs. The cocktails were amazing too. Would come again.

Bodega Underground is a hidden gem! The tacos are packed with so much flavour and are such great value for money. The drinks are just as impressive, adding to the overall great experience. The underground setting gives the place a cool, laid-back vibe that makes it the perfect spot for a night out. Definitely worth a visit!

The pre theatre menu is not worth the $55, youre better off ordering from the menu bcs they say you get 6 food but youre only getting 1 piece of those food and theyre not clear with instructions on what you get when you take package..

One of your waiters is absolutely awesome. I dropped my horchata twice in 2 minutes (my bad 😬), and he was immediately on the job, and deflecting my apologies. Bodega Underground makes for a great first date 🙂
