Dynamic menu of original Southern Italian cuisine that dominates this welcome addition to Hell’s Kitchen. This addition is made even more welcome with the breathtaking beautiful transformation of a once historic space into a hip, fun, stop for dinner that any gourmand will savor.

Formerly, known as Film Center Cafe, Bocca Di Bacco boasts Italian cuisine from Puglia, Sicily, and Sardegna with the endless selection of wines from small vineyards in Italy. Exemplifying our policy of being “Farm to Table” operated, we use the healthiest ingredients from locally grown vendors. Located in the heart of the Theater District, this new modernized restaurant features innovative new recipes and the use of the Enomatic Wine Systems.

Crammed everyone in , tables super close. Lasagna was excellent, I ordered the orrechette pasta with sausage. It was ok, lacked flavor. Service was excellent, martinis very expensive. It was an ok experience

We have eaten there several times. Everything was very good. Most important, although they had originally assigned us a very noisy table despite my request for a quiet one, they allowed us to choose a table in a quiet corner and that made for a huge difference.

Bocca Di Bacco remains a favorite restaurant for us pre-theater when we are in the Theater District. The food is always delicious, with good, dependable (but not obsequious) service.

Unorganized host area which created confusion and a bit of chaos amongst new diners walking in.

We were seated right away which was nice and the first round of drinks came out pretty quickly. The oil that came with the bread was terrible it was not pure olive oil. My husband ordered a gin and tonic and the tonic was flat so the waiter brought another one and it was still flat. Our appetizer which was the grilled octopus and arancini was amazing and came out super quick. Our server didn’t come by all that often. The busser came around and took another drink order my husband ordered a peroni and 15 minutes later we got a glass of wine and another gin and tonic which my husband did not order due to the tonic being flat. We finally got our entree we got the Branzino and the braised short ribs which were both 10/10! Our server came back around and we asked for desert menus and he came back about ten minutes later. At this point we kind of wanted to leave so we asked for the check which came promptly. The food was great the service ruined this place for us, it did look under staffed to give credit to this place. Not sure i would come back.

Wonderful food and marvelous service. A bit too noisy and the music, while nice jazz, was too loud for us but we’re old so maybe others would not be bothered.
